Do You think You have to plug video cables to Dvr or just power cables and use phone to watch the cameras ?because I don’t want run all those cable inside i just want keep them in garage then I want only use my phone to control the cams

thanks for the video. Can you tell me, can this system be viewed simultaneously BOTH remotely, via the app, and also from within the network the cams are connected to? One person who is at home would like to see camera at the front door and another user would like remote access to the cams. will this work? and second question: since the 3 cams work on 1 power supply, is it impossible to install the 3 cams far from each other? 2 cams will be on opposite ends of the house and another is to be mounted downstairs. not sure how this will work with the power supply/cords.

+Emily G multiple people viewing the camera should be fine even multiple people viewing via the app. Regarding the power to the camrras it should be fine as long as the cable reaches.

Yes, it comes with a power splitter and all cables must return to the dvr.

We just got this system (well the POE version). The guide doesn't tell us how to get the Label in the bottom Corner to change. I mean, I don't want it to say CAM1. I want it to say Something Descriptive, like Treasure Room or Kitchen! How do you change that setting?

Does your unit have a setting for live view? It's usually in there. Click on camera01 and a little box comes up to change the name. Sorry my unit is not the same but most of these dvrs are quite similar. Let me check the manual online and get back to you

When you use the pc interface it should show the dvr device and in a drop down menu (when you hit +) and it should say Hdvr device and then Hdvr1, Hdvr2 etc... there should be a setting if you right click or in a side panel of the main window that should say device management. If you find it , it should bring up a menu you that says modify parameters. Click on that and it should give you a small popup with some options. you should be able to change it there too. Gluck m8

can i connect the main box via WIFI to the router instead of Ethernet? i mean i have a portable router...that only conects WIFI to other devices.... can i conect this setup via WIFI only to the router?

Mine doesn't have a hard drive in it. I added one, thinking maybe an EPROM OS might automatically set it up, but nothing happens.

Why not just get an NVR (PoE) system like I did and you have only one cable to run and you have a total digital system?

You guys seem like you've got a firm grasp on how this setup works. I have a similar system with the exact same DVR interface. I've had one of four cameras up and running for 8 months now. My son was playing with the mouse on the interface one day and now my view is just black. I cannot see what the camera sees. After doing some research, I plugged in the other cams to see if it was just that one malfunctioning. They're all working- when I cup them, I can see the infrared lights. All four are plugged in now and my camera grid is totally blank. No picture in any window. Help! I've searched the web, I paid someone to come over and get them running yesterday to no avail. I have the h.view 720p 4 camera CCTV v1.0dvr and troubleshooting been such a pain. Maybe you can post a video on what you can do if you're using this same interface from the video and you're not receiving a picture from one or more cameras. I'm sure it's some simple, but I can't figure it out to save my life. Please, be my heroes! What do I do now?

+Kelly Russel I've actually seen this issue. Each camera has a unique IP not NVR and what you need to do is logon, default password is empty and find the option for configuration and amend have a play about if you have no luck then let me know I'll try to make a video on how to resolve.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes your son has changed a setting. If you set a camera to a resolution it cannot display it will show a black screen. Or some models have a setting for analog (960) and digital (720 for example). Check the settings on the dvr but also they can be changed via the pc client, remote viewer or smartphone app. Alternatively you can reset the device after you back up the files you haven't saved stored elsewhere yet. Hi, I Have this system but it connects only on Wifi but when i connect it on phone without WIFI it wont connect and says connection timed out.....but works fine on WIFI , Please help.

You need to make sure your phone is on the same network as the dvr. If your mobile data is on then it will generally super seed your wifi network unless you have your phone set up for the opposite or just have the data turned off as i do. I only turn my data on when i need it outside my home. Of course the mobile phone company do this quite on purpose. Cheers m8

+Mac Pelao it's very similar just as good, but a couple of things to take note of with this one comes with a hard disk already installed. The cameras are 960p and not 1080p also it's not power over Ethernet but uses coax and you'll need 2 sockets near the recorder as the other one will be required to power the cameras. OS wise its exactly the same as the Sannce. Hope that helps.

I bought the Ezviz 1080p as they had it for $329.. I regret it very much. The video quality is very good, but the software for mobile and the NVR is horrendous. I will be returning it and trying out the A-Zone 1080p POE.. Amazon has it for $319 with 1 TB HD... We'll see how that goes :)

I got the A-Zone kit, but I cannot get rid of the initial Gateway ERR.. I have connected the NVR to the router and have set the correct IP, but still get an ERR... too bad customer support is in China...by the time they are awake, I am sleeping.
