Installed it myself without any issues. The wifi signal is great even kzfaq.infoUgkxE_D_sddGAdiVUKp7PkkmyxO7bRtgqmk5 when the router is located far away. I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.

So were would I get that connecting block? I have one similar and had it hooked to a different dvr. Had no video so I plugged the bnc into a different dvr but forgot the ptz wire was in a different dvr and it worked? I need that orange block!

The rs485 sockets are there if you need to add a joystick controller.

hey great video review. im looking at upgrading a 600 TVL cctv system that is 5 years old. i dont want to break the bank balance but i want a decent cctv system with good IR viewing as its to monitor our cars out on the street. is there any reccomendations that i should be looking at? thanks in advance

+Karl Johnson thanks for the comment personally I'd be looking for a POE system where both the camera's and NVR are 1080p and minimum 2TB hard disk. You should easily be able to pick up a system for under £300 with this spec. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the comment. This system does not take a enthernet cable but uses a BNC connector. Do you would have to connect both the power and the BNC cable.

hi all good I have a speed dome that only when the night comes she gives a fleche of light and starts to rotate alone and can not move the camera via remote only by day she does not stay as I do to get this function to turn it's night

I imagine the PTZ wires are for a seperate PTZ controller (whereby you need to run another cable to the PTZ controller ) rather than using the onscreen menu with a (pc) mouse

PTZ camera that use coax cable can be controlled two ways. One way is using the same coax cable used for video. The other way is using the loose wires called RS485. If your DVR supports coax control that's the way to go. If not most DVRs have a RS485 connection.

DVR can be any brands, but need to be AHD 1080P or AHD 1080N DVR. Such as eyedea brand D9508, D9504, D9708, D9716, D2004V ect.
