At one song per side (same as 45s) it is amazing the public bought them... they had no clue what was coming tho. Excellent job packing/shipping those fragile babies.

Thanks, George, Vinyl records became more popular earlier on in the USA than they did here, with 78's not ending until 1960 a Ray Charles release... Would make an interesting subject for a vlog... Anyways, I think 78's are cooler than vinyl and have pretty much stopped collecting albums, but have bought 45's still... Cheers mate, your support is appreciated...

A good selection there for £12. Love the pronunciations 😂 I frequently do videos and cock it up. I don't play the discs before hand and often it's the title which if I had played it I could have said it correctly 😁 maybe I'll learn maybe I won't.

Lol, yes I tend to do things of the cuff too and then regret it... As it was including the postage I was happy... I'm finding it hard to find any decent 78's... Cheers my man... :)

@@AllMy78s try Gumtree and Facebook marketplace. Often collections on there cheap, hundreds of discs for £25 etc. I have bought several, local and cheap. Even eBay from time to time. Although if you are nearby then hands off 😂

@@GramophonicReevolution Ha ha ... yeah, I am looking at them now, eBay can be expensive with the post but have bought a few from eBay... Also noticed that my tidy tip has a shop now, but only seen vinyl in there, but will keep looking... :)

@@AllMy78s charity shops are the best here and car boots. One charity shop knows I'll buy them so they keep them by and bring them from their other shops now 👍

Sorry I'm late to the Party, but that one Parlophone you got that you said was in an album, was actually part of a promotional series that for Super Rhythm from 1947. They did that yearly from 1934 - 1957. That's about all my Parlophone knowledge. That Jack Teagarden Brunswick you was probably an American Brunswick pressing from the early to mid 1930s.

@@AllMy78s Haha! I can imagine the Missus doen't appreciate the records like you and I do. Also as I have been down that path before, do expect when sifting through them the first few times, a few WILL break no matter how careful you are. With a quantity that size, it's inevitable.
