I finally get to open the pencils I got for Mothers Day, and I wanted to compare them to the other brands I have. I use Caran D'ache, Staedtler Mars Lumograph and a cheap set of graphite pencils I have. Watch the video to see the differences between the three and which is the better option.

You can see the quality of the Caran D'ache just by the sound of how it goes down. Definitely worth a go. I just bought a small set of 6 on Amazon and looking forward to trying it out.

Have used CARAN d'ACHE Grafwood pencils since they first came out and they are great. I have found that the best way to blend the 9B is to use either a 2 or 4B over the edge and then finish it with a blending stump as it does adhere to the paper very well and can be difficult to blend. You can also use the 4H sharp running it through darker tones if you want fine dark lines as it will carry the darker tone. Hope this is also helpful.
