As a chinese myself, i appreciate how people are accepting chinese products as they are, and not be overly critical on everything chinese

When you get some experience, you’ll be able to load and offload the excavator without little ramps . Remember, with the boom you can lift yourself and push and pull . I use a trailer that doesn’t tilt, yet I can load offload with ease. Have fun !

Your wife’s excitement is fantastic. The only reaction one should be experiencing when receiving a mini digger 😂

As a mechanic that worked on Chinese manufactured forklifts my suggestion is to go over the unit & make sure hose clamps for coolant hoses are replaced as the Chinese ones are poor quality. If any parts like filters are manufacturer specific get extras. Also hydraulic hose fittings, check & be certain they are available at your local supplier. Just a couple issues I’ve experienced on the job.

The "clamp thing" is a muffler tip to direct the exhaust for the engine. The small black pouch with the spanners and screwdriver (and the exhaust tip) would normally ship with just the engine, if purchased separately.

The clamp may be a safety device you place around the hydraulic ram when doing maintenance such as greasing etc, my Chinese bobcat has one and the instructions say it stops the bucket arm from falling should the ram(s) fail, they usually creep down as it is. Be sure to run full throttle as the pumps work better/last longer that way, or they will struggle.

So just to give my two cents, for what they're worth. The only time you don't wear a seatbelt, is when operating without a roll bar (for example if you fold it down on a big commercial mower to go under park tree branches. You don't wear the seat belt, so you can jump off) If you have a roll bar or a cab, you always wear a seatbelt, because it fights your instinct and stops you jumping off. It keeps you within the safe area. Most of the time when people try and jump off a machine with a roll bar, you just end up getting trapped under the bar. The seatbelt is to stop you jumping off. Your right about the cost of plywood. I heard a story about Japan buying glass bottles from Russia years ago. Japan didn't want the glass bottles. They wanted the rare wood that the bottles were shipped in.

Great video, neat little excavator (“digger”) - FYI, when you have a ROPS (roll-over protective structure) you want a seatbelt to keep you inside the protective ROPS. Most people are injured or killed when they attempt to leap from a piece of equipment, and it rolls over them. The seatbelt keeps you inside the protective ROPS and keeps you from getting crushed.

Having run a rental shop (the one in the big orange box) for many years, I have had the opportunity to see just about everything someone can do to break a Mini-Excavator. We had 1-ton, 1.5 ton and 2.5-ton excavators in the lineup, and I was forever pushing people to rent the bigger machines because the mini-ex was constantly broken by people trying to make it do more than its capabilities allowed. The most common complaint was it lacked power. Most of the time, people would run it at RPMs too low to produce the needed power. I noticed as you were moving the machine off the trailer you were doing the same thing. Setting the throttle lever at no less than 2000 rpm will give it the balls to do most of what its design specs allow. Higher RPMs will also protect the engine from overheating and stalling. Stalling a diesel engine is bad news. Operating the machine at or above 2000 RPM will, to your wife's consternation, make the machine noisy and loud, but it makes you safer as the operator. If you put yourself in a position where the machine may tip over, having more speed to swing the cab and use the bucket to brace with can make the difference between giving yourself the option to tip-toe out of the position or getting squashed dead like a bug. Regarding the seat belt. There's a comment here that's right on the mark about injuries to operators trying to jump off a rolling machine. He's right. It's the fastest, easiest way to commit suicide on an excavator or any other kind of construction equipment. staying on the machine while it rolls is how you survive. Also, should you roll the unit and pursue compensation through your insurance company, the instant they discover there is no seat belt, you'll be completely screwed and probably liable for prosecution. Put a seat belt on it ASAP. Both the Bobcat and the Kubota 1-tons we rented were able to spread their tracks in and out for an increase in the track width by about 20 inches. This seemingly small change made a dramatic difference in the stability of the machine, and it was always the first thing I taught renters to do (after the throttle-up recommendation). These are good, capable machines when used within their specs and tons of fun to operate if you're careful. I just noticed the video "Mini-excavator pushed Hard..." which I haven't watched. I wonder what RPM you were running it at?

Saved me 20 minutes of my time putting the end result in the first 10 seconds. 🤣🤣

I've operated diggers for 47 years all sizes, once you get used to it all the things become extensions of your arms and you won't even notice it. have fun playing with it rembers the guard on the lift ram is to protect it against the bucket hitting the ram because it will hit it. 👍✔️

Clamp is a hydraulic hose protection clamp probably for the auger. I own a cat mini excavator and have a similar part on my auger

Check the exterior of the tool box to see if the clamp you questioned fits on it. The clamp may mount the tool box to the ROPS ( Roll bar)

I run mine in over 100 degrees And she stays very cool. I never even need to turn on the oil cooler. Very smart getting the ram guards also 👍🏻👌🏼💪🏼

I could have used this little machine when I was a homeowner for over 30 years. I no longer need such a tool, but I want one just to screw around.

Great size machine to do the digging. I have a small TLB takes the back breaking labor out of digging. I’m not getting any younger.

Hey guys and congratulations on your diggers arrival. Its been a journey for you guys, at least you can get on with everything now. So that clamp you were referring to, that is an exhaust diverter. When the engines are fitted to other applications, sometimes the exhaust points directly at other components so that clamp is used to re direct the hot gasses away. Your little ex looks a better fit and finish to mine for sure. Well done guys and keep it up 👍😁 ooh and thank you for the shout out. I'm glad I helped where I could. The seat belt is there to keep you from jumping off the equipment in a rollover and crushing you. Not for a high speed collision obviously.

Engine not quite as buttery as the Yanmar engines usually used in these small diggers but for the price unbelievable value to do a couple of smallholder projects.

You will find so many uses for it. I use a similar one at work and it's great.

As others have already said, there was no need to make or use a ramp. Extend boom out about half way, drive off/forward until you get to edge of trailer, put bucket on ground and lift the machine's front end just a bit, drive forward again while pulling boom back, until tracks front are fully supported on the ground, Lift bucket and spin 180 put bucket down, as close to machine, on trailer lift machine off trailer Drive backward/off trailer while extending boom clear trailer let machine down.

I have one as well , big thing is to keep the tracks always very tight , you do this with your grease gun, they will slacken as you drive and turn, the cover on the side of the track is your grease point .

These excavators are so light they can be quite frustrating to operate. Weight and stability are a good basis for pulling the digger bucket through tough compacted ground. Ive got a 301.7d cat digger and being 1.8 ton its a marked difference when you have to use something as small as this little thing

Why am I watching this? Actually, I'm 42, so remembering what it was like to finger through a turn of the century Sears catalog to see all the wild objects you could purchase for mere cents, and now to see an excavator from China "mail ordered" is insane.

Hahaha 'guvNORRRRRR!!!!! I instinctively guessed that you were an operator right away and loved when you first "touched" the controls to certify Cat vs John Deere. Cat won. LOL I agree that the auger option outweighs all else on this mini due to its tiny width vs light horsepower in the trenching mode. We Yanks call it the ROPS (roll over protective structure)-again a master MASTER notification on your part. I'm impressed with the wet kit (auger et el) and the low end torque required for the blade function. I predict pure success with this machine 'mate! Cheers!

Great little machine don’t be disheartened by folks saying it’s crap and you won’t get parts etc remember us brits can fix anything with a welder a vice and a bloody big hammer ,theres always someone out there that can and will fix it good luck relax and enjoy 👍👨🏻‍🏭🇬🇧

Word of advice/caution don’t push heavy objects(especially and even more so when doing it overhead like a tree trunk or heavy demolition)with that bucket/boom more than likely you’ll bend those cylinder’s/rods

A great bit of kit! I think you would get more use from a top, keep cool from the sun, dry from the rain, and a place to hang your stereo speakers. The roll bar may on the off chance save your life.....but come on how often will you tip over? I love it!
