I own one in 6.8 Western, and it didn't take long for it to quickly become my favorite rifle and favorite cartridge. This is a dream to shoot, and it's ridiculously light weight. This is the perfect rifle for those trekking through steep terrain, canyons, mountains, or expedition hunts. It's accurate, and the short barrel allows for a can.

Glad you like it. That's pretty much my thoughts too. Thanks for watching!

Excellent review exactly what I needed to see. I am a firearms collector and enthusiast. I've never hunted for game. This is something I feel is a need and important not just as a gun owner but also as a human being on many levels. I have a tentative trip to Texas for a deer hunt with a few experienced hunters and a personal instructor for obvious safety concerns. I just purchased a Ridgeline FFT LH 308 on faith this is the right rifle for deep hunting given a very brief look at my options. The next thing on my list is an appropriate scope. Thank for the overview again very helpful.

I was thinking about ordering a left-hand one in 7mm-08. I've been hearing people complain about having problems with the brass not ejecting on some though.....
@redroodefense32207 ай бұрын
I have read some complaints regarding failure to eject, most of them seemed to be related to 6.5 calibers, not 7mm-08. I can say none of my customers have related any issues to me. However, I have not dealt with any LH Christensens.

I own 4 christensen rifles and I can assure you that those rifles are the best shooting guns i have ever had !!! and here in germany shooting is all about groups , a rifle that shoots more than 20mm at a 100m is considered to be a piece of junk for precision shooting, but might be ok for hunting. my .22 ranger groups at 50 meters with the cheep cci standard velocitiy about 12mm , my 6.5 creed titanium ridgeline groups at 100m about 10mm, the .308 ELR groups are under 10mm at a 100m, same with my .308 MPR ! all rifles have the carbon barrel and shooting was done prone with harris bipod and a sandbag and top notch ammo, shooting was done after the break in procedure. I do the break in a little different as CA tells ya, lets call it the german way, its a little more effort and ya need a couple more bullits. my opinion those rifles are a bang for the buck, quality and performance is outstanding! hope that helps to get to a decision. cheers from Germany

I am planning on getting myself one, but in a 308 Winchester. What do you think? Will it be worth the money. I want to know from someone who already got one, and by now, I'm pretty sure you ready done many rounds on yours.
@redroodefense3220 Жыл бұрын
I think it would be well worth the money. My customer would not hunt with anything else and owns more than one. Thanks for watching!

What is your opinion on Fury rifles vs Christiansen?
@redroodefense3220 Жыл бұрын
Great question, I don't have any experience with the Fierce Fury. From what I have read they are also an exceptional rifle, although the Ridgeline is about a pound lighter. If I ever get my hands on one I will be sure to put out a video!

So, you are supposed to clean this rifle from the muzzle end ?
@redroodefense3220 Жыл бұрын
No, breech to muzzle. It is recommended to use a bore guide to prevent solvent from entering the trigger group. Thanks for watching!
@ellobo1326 Жыл бұрын
@@redroodefense3220 Thanks for the reply. I’m familiar with chamber/bore guides. I thought I heard you describe it as a muzzle guide, which confused me.

So, how many red roos are you needing to defend yourself from? I am in Australia, and I have never had to do so, they are pretty passive unless you approach them the wrong way, which is incredibly easy to avoid. Or are you somehow the figurative red roo that we all need to prepare to defeat? Please outline your unique situation.
