I use the Cane Creek eeSilk+ seatpost, but went with the Redshift stem, as you can flip it from -6 to +6 deg but switching around the elastomers internally.

Another good reason to avoid integrated, 1-piece cockpits. Cheers

Just got the redshift stem. Definitely longer stem is better bec “suspension” comes from deflection at the pivot point, only way to get most deflection is to get your weight out on the drops or at least the hoods, from others who have tried both (look @ bikesauce review, explains the physics pretty well.) I’ll let you know if you’d like, trying it myself first time this weekend

Hello George, I have been riding the lockable one for a few months. The lock does not lock the unit out, it just stiffens it. After a couple of rides I found it too bouncy with the stiff and ordered the extra stiff elastomer, which is not included in the pack. That one is great and I seldom use the lockout now. I am about 175 lbs and wanted to get rid of the trail chatter from rocks and bumpy terrain. If you order one of these stems I recommend including the extra stiff one so they will cover the shipping.

I think if i'm racing gravel, id go with the lockout switch version of that stem😁
