Honestly, I like the new Pennywise, since the 2017 take on IT is based more on the novel than the series.

2017 is better

These two funko pops of these two versions of Pennywise are very different from each other so you can't compare the two but they both look great in their own right and same goes for the movies as well 1990 IT and 2017 IT is completely different movies by the technical aspects (computer and makeup effects, costumes, music scores, sound effects, locations) and tone and level of violence and suspense and thrills and the characteristics of Pennywise but if I had to choose I think the 2017 IT funko pop looks great and in terms of movies I would go with the 2017 IT because it's a better film and in terms of the performances from Tim Curry and Bill Skarsgard as the main antagonist Pennywise I would go with Tim Curry Pennywise over Bill Skarsgard's Pennywise even I enjoyed his performance and his Pennywise as well :)

I enjoyed the new movie and their take on it, I'm glad it wasn't exactly the same scene to scene but I have to say I prefer the 1990 tv movie as it had such an impact on me when I was little.. Plus Tim Curry is amazing! Great video Rylan!

I don't know Tim Curry's Pennywise makes me laugh while Bill Skargård makes me scared the difference between them you know already but one of them is a mini series not a movie but the 2017 version is a movie which is a two parter.

The new costume design is closer to how it is in the book.

Just ordered both and am excited to add both to my collection. Although I don’t unbox my pops lol.

I prefer the new movie because the old one was a bit too goofy. Yes it had its moments, but it wasn’t as creepy as the book. The reason is it was 1990 and on tv first, so they had to a bit clean. But as a horror movie comparing to horror of the book I like the new one. Can’t wait for the second!

The 1990 version because the sculpted mouth the red clown nose and how the arms are they are cool but the new it pop body is cool not a big fan of the head but the makeup or whatever you call it is great

I would say the original one is more scary. The new one is cute to me.

The new one is very clearly dressed in a victorian era outfit making him look ancient. But also his eyes go silver not yellow, and they where only blue in the sewer scene because they where meant to look like Bills blue eyes making Georgie trust him

I like 1990. It's more funny and more pennywise. I like how 1990 isn't shy like the new one. And considering the effects for 1990 was for a tv series, it's not that bad.
