So Far, So Good... So What! is the third studio album by Bay Area Thrash Metal band Megadeth, originally released in 1988 on Capitol Records. In 2004, Dave Mustaine remixed and remastered the album and released it again on Capitol Records, replacing the original. In 2009, Capitol Records released a limited 180g vinyl LP of the original album. In 2014, Capitol Records released a limited 180g vinyl LP picture disc of the remixed and remastered edition. The original album has been out of print at least as long as the remixed and remastered edition has been available, but according to the Encyclopedia Metallum, the original CD was last reissued in 1995 in Japan.

I have 2 copies of that CD and one of them has a sticker from the 80s. The cassette also has an old Parental Advisory sticker. I also just got the original pressing on vinyl.

do you know how I see if it is original or not? I open the audio with Audacity and just look at it!!! if it is compressed and brickwalled to death it is the 2004 version^

The lack of a PA-Explicit Lyrics sticker was my first concern.

What matters is that is the OG mix and master.....which is wayyyy better

CD and booklet are original, I have an unopened SFSGSW that I opened, got it years ago at record store, it’s original but they recasted it with that clear jewel case

So which version has the horns at the beginning of Into the Lungs of Hell? I had the original on cassette (which didn't have them), but I heard them on a youtube upload on what's called a first press vinyl 1987. But then, someone said the horns where on the remastered version.

Noah Nobody horns are on the remastered
