Guess why he said cubes instead of dice? Because he still has a Russian mentality and a Russian state of thinking. In Russian we call dice кости, or игральные кости (igral'niye kosti), literally means bones or playing bones. The other variant would be the more widely used one: кубики (Kubiki), meaning something like "little cubes"

Monoploy was derived from an earlier game called "The Landlord's Game" (invented in 1904) which was supposed to demonstrate how rents enrich property owners and impoverish tenants and teach kids to be suspicious of unfairness. It also had a co-op mode as well as the competitive mode we all know of from playing Monopoly where all the players try to win together.

For a collector, the damaged box will reduce the value of the item considerably especially if it is resold in an auction. Send it back and tell them to change the box.
