They're not very common. They're not tuned like the other 3 uke sizes. They're tuned like the highest four strings on a guitar. So a C on a normal uke would be a G on here. G is D, etc.

Ellie XoX No, it is easier to learn ukulele then guitar. With the ukulele you will get used to chord changing, and the pain with pressing down on the string. It made it a lot easier for me to learn guitar.

She isn't wrong... Ukueles have 4 strings whole guitars have 6. Ukuleles are also smaller.

Null the 4 strings on a uke are tuned to the SAME INTERVALS as the top 4 strings on guitar. Both instruments use the same chord shapes. Take a guitar C, for example, forget about the 2 low strings, and you have the shape for F in ukelele. Also it should be noted that most bari ukes actually have the exact same tuning as the top 4 strings on guitar, but like she said, hers doesn’t have bari strings

and yes it is normal , you tune it like dgbe and this one in the video is tuned gcea , normal bariton is tuned like the 4 high guitar string and ukulele is the same with capo on 5. fret

I have an acoustic guitar from First Act that's a smaller version for kids. I tend to use it because it's light weight and compact. It's similar in size similar to what you have here, but with 6 strings instead of 4.
