I'm sure many Parents and GrandParents will appreciate an honest review by someone that works and deals with stones on a daily basis. Thanks Kyle!

Very honest review! I was suspicious of the aquamarine and topaz being glass. With all the items included and the packaging it’s not super cheap to make. I do think with the small amount of specimens when said and done that’s a lot of money for what you get. Although you are getting an experience not just a bag of stuff.

But it's kind of a scam if most of them are fake, I could see lab created maybe but glass is definitely a scam for that prize.

THANK YOU KYLE FOR THIS REVIEW!!! I have come close to purchasing this a FEW times and have stopped myself because I didn't want to spend the money on it only to be disappointed with low quality or lab created specimens. You've nailed it on this review. The ruby and sapphire totally look lab-created and I think the opal is too. And you are so right about citrine! If that was truly natural citrine...that piece alone would be worth around $40 and you know Nat Geo ain't putting no expensive natural citrine in its kits (Sorry Nat Geo). Overall, this may be a fun thing for littles to experience but... I will not be buying this kit ever. Besides the diamond... I could probably just make my own 🙊 Again, thanks for the honest review. Cheers Kyle!

Pretty cool! I really like that. The fun is digging it out. Nice opal, it’s real. I’ve got an eye for lab and natural and remember, lab created are made of the same composition as natural.

Nice dig and honest kit review! I think parents will appreciate your review. I was reminded of my bread dough experience’s of creating ornaments for the tree in year’s just starting out as parent’s💜 I do think I would have been head over heels in love with the raw diamond, lol, especially around 8-9 yrs in age. But I also grew up before the interwebs were invented and was admittedly very naive compared to 8-9 yr olds are today. Enjoyed this regardless and in spite of the results🤘😁

Happy to see this kit review. I always wonder if they are worth the $ or are you just paying high prices because of the name brand? You helped answer that for me, Thanks!

😂 it really looks like you're pulling those out of a very thick, very stale slice of extremely doughy bread. Not a bad little kit. That diamond container was super weird to see you pull out of the stale bread.

A fun kit and it even had the birthstones.😊

Months later, but I feel it's worth noting -- the pearl also appears to be a very, VERY poor quality cultured freshwater pearl.
