@@pamelagilbert8077 I love it too!! It’s the perfect summer outift. Unfortunately she’s a doll I change a lot, so I don’t get to enjoy any outift of hers for too long a period lol. But then when I put it back on her, it feels new again.

My TM100 loves that I put it on her too-she’s still wearing it 😆 I think I want to swap shoes between her and addy’s bday outift, because the colors go better that way. I’m so glad you got everything too! This was such a fun release 🥰

Haha i feel the same about wanting to see things in real time (not sped up), but usually I can gab enough to fill that empty space lol! I don’t know when I learned that the bday outifts came without shoes, probably not until after I uploaded this. But maybe I did know and so many people were kind enough to explain that now I don’t remember lol. But I definitely didn’t know Josephina’s outift came with shoes! I probably didn’t know about the others not having them come to think of it. Otherwise I might’ve mentioned it when I talked about addy’s book cover 🤔

They’re lot always the perfect scale, but they seem to work well enough. However! Let me leave you with this warning: I started with collecting American girl play sets because they are AMAZING! I thought I could just stick to them because I wasn’t too in love with dolls. Well! Now I have over 100 of them. ☠️☠️☠️

Yes! I’ve been doing just that. The AG clothing and accessories are so well-made. I’ll buy an outfit for a jacket or a sweater and end up accumulating leftover pieces that I can’t use and I was okay with that until you pulled out those Healthy Roots dolls…..Now, I’m thinking just one doll and a friend? Then, I can justify the skates and the record player. 🤔 I don’t know. The real dilemma is fitting these dolls into my collection. I’m really an enthusiast; not a collector. I make the distinction only because I think as a collector you don’t need to justify anything. Collectors are going to collect, right? You see it, you want it, you like it, you buy it. I think I would be overwhelmed with too many. I have a number that I don’t want to exceed. I don’t know what the exact number is yet, but it’s definitely fewer than 100. 😅 Anyway, I digress. I will heed your advice and enjoy these dolls vicariously for as long as I can.

I wasn’t totally aware of how long the video was getting while recording… but then I tried to stand up after and I get it 🤣🤣 So far Courtney is still in the outfit but with some of her accessories. It suits her perfectly

Must’ve been denial, like I convinced myself I’d be kind of invisible because everyone would be distracted by my dolls. Come to find out some people actually play my videos as background NOISE, like listening to me talk 🤣🤣

Hey Cheryl! I had no room for these dolls too-so I’m taking down the mirror behind me in the video and putting up shelves. Are you very far from the border? For me it’s worth the 1.5-2hr drive every month or 2 to pick up dolls. And yes, this haul unboxing was such a rush I felt drained after, like a sugar crash 🤣

Actually I am not too far from the border. I have a doll friend who orders stuff to a postal box in the US. I am going to ask him if he would order some things for me. I am not big on driving or going across the border. I find it a bit stressful. I’m sure your displays will be beautiful when it is all finished! 🤗

Clay coloured. That’s a good way to call it. As for the music, it feels more like an homage to the era. I really enjoyed it though! But yeah it’s a bit on the parody side, just not in a mocking way.

Haha I think I also rush in my excitement. Like I want to see the next thing because I had so much to get through. Also… I wasn’t sitting in the best position for an hour long video, so I’m glad I didn’t take even longer. I couldn’t even stand up after ☠️🤣

Ahhhh her patchwork outfit! I knew they were familiar. And this jumpsuit didn’t come with shoes right? I bought her classic meet outfit recently, but it hasn’t arrived yet.

@DisBlaine Yes the original did not come with shoes, you would have had to use her classic meet sandals to finish the outfit. This was popular in the earlier Pleasant Company days, that you had to use the meet shoes and/or socks/stockings to finish the outfit.

@@AmericanBoyCollectAmericanGirl that explains why Addy is wearing her meet boots on the bday book. Oh and Josephina and Kirsten both have laces on their meet boots. They’re just the same color as the boots, so they may not show up very well on camera

@DisBlaine Also, the dolls don't always match the book cover...if you take Kirsten for instance, her Birthday book has always shown her birthday outfit with her Red Boots, never her Meet Shoes or her Two-tone Boots. And the boots to her Changes For Kirsten book cover have never been made for the doll. I just made a video going through most of the Historical items that just came back, comparing the May 2024 catalog with catalogs from the 90s and 2000s. Hopefully, I can get it finished tonight or tomorrow.

Oh yes you’re definitely not alone in the Integirty community! Most collectors prefer the hook closures. I wish the threads they hook into weren’t so camouflaged sometimes but I see why many like that system.

Oh it’s definitely the new face mold for Kirsten! Do they even have the old ones anymore? I can’t tell if they’ve evolved or just been replaced. I didn’t notice yarn on her shoes (I can check tomorrow) but I thought Josephina had faux suede laces.

Depends on the collector. I used to keep all the boxes but now I limit it to boxes I like or find special in some way.
