That might be my next knife. Although there are better options out there this is a piece of History and a good collection knife.

The cordage, or what looks like a shoe lace, that runs through the bottom of the sheath is used to tie around the thigh as the sheath is supposed to hang low.

Shoe lace comes since WW2 and used first in the scabbard M8A1 used for M3 trench knife

Wow, $145 ?? Definitely not, with that money you could buy an ESEE 6 knife or if you add $40 you could buy an ESEE Junglas knife. Also the Tops knife Steel Eagle is almost the same money. Now the OKC knives are expensive because the company is closed and the people are buy them to make collections; If you’re looking for a reliable knife I will recommend you take a look on another options.
