The skating outfit is unbelievably accurate. As a kid in the seventies, I had that EXACT outfit on while skating with a satin matching baseball style jacket and ribbon barrettes. Even the same blue roller skates but the wheels and stopper were yellow. Amazing set.

This Julie release is so cute. Ivy looks great in the jumpsuit. I had the same type outfit but with a yellow turtleneck with round metal pull and corduroy jumpsuit. Thank you for trying it all on your chubby dolls. All of us who have the older chubby dolls know it will fit our dolls! I agree I think Ivy would be a wonderful addition to the historical line.

I purchased everything from Julie including another Julie doll. The school outfit is absolutely gorgeous. The outfit is great quality. From the skirt to the vest to the tights and shoes. The tights are thick and very nice. My favorite Julie outfit for sure. I love the color scheme too. Every thing of Julie’s is awesome. Thank you so much for sharing your awesome video. ❤

Yes!! This is the right direction. My daughter is 6… we have read as many of the books as we can get our hands on and she loves the historical characters way more than the modern lines. She is tired of all the pink and purple for her own clothes! And she prefers the more historically accurate rather than the beforever!! Kids do have good taste!!

I'm going to be making a crochet vest to see how it works and looks. I crochet and Granny squares is what I love to do I've never made a vest at all but I'm up to the challenge of making one be as historically accurate as possible.

Thank you for reviewing all the items! I've been desperately wanting that floral jumpsuit for ages, so I am thrilled they brought it back. I ordered it, plus the summer skating outfit and Julie's Journal today. Sadly, the school outfit is on backorder already so I will have to grab it once it comes back in stock. The skating outfit in particular is so nostalgic to me, definitely similar to stuff I wore in the 70s. The record set is adorable and on my wishlist.

Great review. I ordered the granny square vest and the roller skate outfits. I also ordered the lunchbox. Julie was my first AG doll and is still my favorite in my collection.

We have the original record player set and it was defective and they sent us a replacement. This was years ago though. I was wanting to get this new set. Hoping all the other ones are ok!

Love jumpsuit

I haven't watched the whole video yet but want to add what I found out today. I ordered Kirsten and asked how many they made and was told she's not a "limited" doll. #2. I ordered Julie's granny square outfit and it's back ordered already. That is why it was "limited" quantities. Apparently, it's so popular that they sold out the stock they had already. Due to ship June 14th.

I may need the music set. My Dad had a record player box in red and white that held all his records just like Julie's orange one!

Can’t wait to pick up the floral jumpsuit! So wish they’d rereleased Julie’s birthday dress, though!

What do you think about the AG Julie in store? I have Ivy and I think she would like her best bud to join her. Finding a good PC Julie has not gone well. Been looking now for 7 years. I want one for a reasonable price with uncut hair and unstained. I love the outfits. Oh those shorts, I hated those our PE outfits had those shorts. I am a dancer and hated 70s PE class. Can you believe my uncle had to make a fuss because they didn't want me to graduate because I had a D- in PE? I was in the community marching band, i was living with my aunt and uncle for most of 9th. But on Julie as a casual outfit I think it is cute, the colors remind me of my twin cousins. i absolutely love the floral jumpsuit. So yeah I figured the "granny square" vest would be faux crochet, with the amounts needed for stock. Just like you can make crochet look similar to knit from a distance the same goes for knit looking like crochet, but the cool thing is real crochet can't be done on machine like knit can. Oh my the first record makes me think of Beach Boys or Simon & Garfunkle, the disco could be anyone your pick, often groups were one hit wonders. Wonder what the third one sounds like?

Melody associates now come with a record of her brothers song I wonder if you put on the record player that it'll play or not

I saw the picture of Julie original sound accessories which came with a mini tape recorder that allowed 30 seconds record and play back. I can see why the bought back just the record player

The elastic on the bow is just for ease of use. The ones in the 70’s wouldn’t have had that. The look accomplished is authentic.

I would be more impressed if the records were the eagles because that's a band Julie likes ❤

Pink and pink are trans colors if they are together so you could use the skating outfit for pride month ❤
