Well I am glad you were shopping the wall. I struggle with huge record stores. To you point they are overwhelming and it is hard to focus. I have bought my first albums from Discogs lately. I have checked Amazon and then I go to Discogs and find I can get an incredible first pressing for less. I still try to be careful as I could get carried away buying too much lol.

Hey, Steve! Yes, Discogs can definitely be dangerous. So many records so easily available. It's probably a good thing for me that Discogs hasn't implemented the OneClick buying option like Amazon. That would be really dangerous! How was your first Discogs buying experience? Skol, Jeff

And that’s why I hate those resealable sleeves. Especially when the glue is on the flap. If it’s on the sleeve itself it’s not as bad, but I’ll stick with the regular open ended sleeves. I got to see Benny Goodman in NYC Central Park in the early 70’s. Beautiful summer night with the band playing and the Manhattan skyline behind them.

You are super picky, especially considering the cheap price. Most of the new vinyl I buy that comes in paper sleeves looks waaaay worse than my 40 years old records that have been kept in padded sleeves. In my view, a record that has to be scanned with a magnifier to find any blemish can easily be rated as NM. Some of the (black) vinyl I buy new looks VG+.
