Another beautifully shot and narrated review Johnathan. A word of warning for all potential buyers of this figure. Mine arrived straight out of the box with pleather issues, the strapping on the legs had totally come away making it look like they were snapped, also the velcro had totally come away from the belt, which is a glue issue but the money we all pay for these things this should not of been an issue in the first instance but i did get a replacement body from Sideshow. I do feel that the pants were cut too short, they ride up far too high when you have the figure in a jumping up and or flying pose and i do think that the head sculpt is a little soft but when you place the pilot head accessory over the top it makes the head sculpt look a lot better which makes me think that maybe the hair is off? After saying all of this once you have the figure fully loaded up and posed up he looks fantastic. Thank you for sharing my friend.

You are very right about the Jango portrait here. IMO, the face is a tad too wide. I call myself a heretic here, I prefer the Hasbro 12 inch Deluxe Jango portrait. That one looks, IMO, closer to the vibe that Morrison's face gave at that time. As the base material Hasbro gave us there was really not bad, I just did some modding on it - new body, hands separated from the gauntlets, blackwash to the belts and holsters. I also widened the greaves with heat permanently so that they sit much better. Also glued the leg armour permanently to his flightsuit and closed the torso armour (he was designed by Hasbro to be changed into his "leisure look", but this did not interest me). Anything else, I left as it was (okay, gave the head some shine to his eyes). I really do enjoy this figure. However, I left most of the stuff Hasbro added in the box. Particularly both of those tiny hooks are so prone to getting lost (I searched for half an hour for one of them on last Christmas eve). I mostly use the more compact jetpack (silver-blue), because I think it goes better with his overall look.

I would have figured this being the original Fett would be sold out by now but I guess not? I don’t know why he’s pretty cool the only downside was the pants they are to short & you can’t pull off flight poses cuz it exposes the ankles pegs, whoever was in charge of that dropped the ball.

Good review, but why change the angle on the height comparison section? The previous ones you did were further away and gave a better idea of what the characters looked like next to each other.
