@@phreakyq I’d assume they were suppose to be included if it were in text. Chances are they changed their mind and never changed the text. It was never shown physically though in their media.

I do agree that the likeness to NP is only from a certain angle but I’m not sure if it’s good enough for the asked price. Maybe one day we will see ROTS Padme with an improved sculpt/paint application 🤞

As a sculptor who tends to do some realism sculpts often I will say that when it comes to likenesses something people tend to forget is that when looking at actors on screen, red carpet events etc. we're seeing them through different lens focal lengths. And when you have something in hand it might look different to that because the artist might have used shots entirely from the movie as reference for example so it'll look off compared to photos of them from a magazine or regular interviews etc! I definitely am a fan of this and its IMO Padme's best look so I think this will be a pickup for me for sure!

Definitely agree with the neck joint is scary to move around am so happy she got double jointed elbows and knees and the biggest one split cut boots!! The body is ok but like you mentioned it needs to be better in the future especially dynamic hero’s or heroine’s that can fight example Black Widow etc

It stung a bit when you said, "this isn't something you'd want to sleep on". Yeah, I waited too late. Didn't decide I wanted her until my favorite couple retailers had sold out. Not the worst thing in the world but we'll see what happens. Enjoyed the review, as always!

I think the sculpt is fantastic though you do have to play with the lighting a bit (imo it's perfect in minute 7:00) I'm very excited to get mine, I got her right before it got waitlisted on sideshow.

Congrats on getting her before the waitlist! While the portrait is somewhat finicky, she does look incredible in the display. Hopefully you enjoy her when she come in!

Nice review and great tips on getting the cape to sit a bit more naturally with the magnets. Now I just have to go buy some magnets lol. Interested to see if we get another version of her. Maybe from The Phantom Menace with the anniversary releases this year but I can’t see her becoming the next Iron Man or Trooper with every single appearance we’ve seen getting a release. I think she’ll look great alongside the AOTC Anakin that’s coming out and probably the best looking version of the character from the films. Keep it up, mate 👊

I haven’t picked this figure up yet. I am waiting on episode 2 Anakin Skywalker and mace windu are the ones I am looking forward to more.

Those two will be incredible! Wish Mace could’ve been upgraded fro rolling eyes, but I’m just glad to have his representation in general. Anakin was a must! 🔥🔥

Thank you, and thank you so much for watching! I have Anakin on preorder, yes. Almost wanted two after reading Brotherhood, but I decided against it. Glad I did, because I was in a different spot back when he was announced, haha! When they release him, he’ll definitely have a review on the channel. 😄🙏🏼

Pairing her with chrome clone troopers is a great idea. The hints of chrome on her accessories are drawn out by the troopers

Exactly! That and they reminded me of her ship which was all chrome. The perfect pairing if you happen to own them in the display. But yes, the arm bands and her ELG-3A made me go all in early and hope for her announcement.😄🍻

Glad you finally could realize your vision of Padme with the Chrome troopers! Do you think washing the cloak would be necessary? Stains and so?

Thank you! I just have to fix up her pose in the display a bit and I’m happy! It’s tough to say, because I do fear the cloak staining the white clothing. I’ve never washed any of the garments though personally. I never had that issue myself. This is making me wonder though…

Shoot@@BostonCollectors, I didn't even think of the outfit itself, I was thinking of her headsculpt. Warm (not hot) water and perfume-free detergent took me a long way with Obi-Wans Jedi cloak, I'm thinking the same would work here.

What a nice (and welcome) way to end a hell of a work week. Unfortunately, my Padme is not on the horizon yet. Sometimes my retailer gets figures in late. This outfit really makes no sense for this character.

Oof, sounds like you got the shaft. I just had a work meeting myself, something I start up next month though on my end. Cruising until then. 🙌🏼 I feel like she’s worth the wait. Not 100%, but worth the wait. A month is pushing it, I couldn’t wait longer than that though. Hopefully she come in soon! 🍻🙌🏼

I typically complain about fists, but I wouldn’t have been upset this time around oddly enough. Had they provided better gestures in pairs I wouldn’t have been bothered.
