Locking tuners are amazing. I have the Vintage Gotoh Magnum Lock ones on all my electric guitars. I absolutely love them! Your guitars and gear are awesome!

I'm undecided on locking tuners. They can nick the B and E strings causing early failure. They are awesome on Wound strings. Coming from a violinist that had to change broken strings in the past on stage during concert. 😮

Thank you for sharing! In generally I prefer simple tuning machine. This guitar is very special and it's so good with these tuners. I never break a string anymore!

I bought a Kramer Striker 2nd-hand. The guitar wasn't much to speak about but the guy I bought it from put a Kahler whammy on it that was worth more than the guitar and that was my favorite trem. Incredibly stable and so much less hassle than a Floyd.

I'm not so sure locking tuners add much, but apparently a lot of people do. Love that chopped-up Duncan strat, though.

In general I don't like any locking tuners. But this guitar had these in many years ago! So it's so nice to have these on this special guitar!

Don't they insure all tools for a lifetime? I could be wrong, but I think you could literally buy a tool, use it for 40 years, have it fail, and they'll replace it.

Sperzel was my first locking tuners then I tried graph tech ratio. graph tech ratio are good because they wind up lesser, but I unfortunately broke one of the locking wheel. sperzel are built like a tank, very sturdy tuners just a bit heavy.

I don't speak German but I think that's the right pronunciation 👍 also I recently watched a video by Dylan Talks Tone about split humbuckers, they are awesome! apparently the main difference is that they don't use a bar magnet but actually magnet pole pieces like a strat pickup. Have you ever tried the cunife wide range humbuckers? I would love to try them but they are so rare and expensive.

Fujita-san, thanks for your efforts , its really informative for beginners. I have a question, please try to cover the topic in one of your video. I have a guitar whose string are bit far away from the fret board, such that it really hurts to press and play the guitar... Does it have to be like that? In your videos you can press strings without much effort. Would be greatful if you can cover this aspect for beginners? Thank you
