Why will these shut off if you put water in them?

Do you need water because it’s an evaporate in tower and there’s a bottle that you fill with water and freeze and then you put it down in the bottom compartment and then it blows out cold air

How did you deal with the industrial plastic smell?

Mine didn’t have that weird smell. It worked pretty darn good. I was pretty impressed to tell you the truth. I thought it was gonna be disappointing but it wasn’t😎🤙

@@TomLeeman It lets out a weird plasticy smell, industrial even. Before you let it run for like 3 hours, what did you do?

@@swefress first make sure that you pull out the filter soak it and freeze it and fill the water reservoir up to the level so that it’s not overfilled and put your filter back in and try turning it on

@@TomLeeman Exactly what I did. I can smell the same scent it shoots out while smelling the fan entrance. Maybe I need to clean the inside?

@@swefress if it’s brand new, it should work without a smell all the ones that I tried didn’t have any chemical smells to him but I did get one that had a broken fan
