I fully agree, we are broke. I'm proud of my 2019 budget asus laptop, a cheap 27 inch samsung monitor, a old ikea kitchen table and a budget keyboard with a budget mouse. Yet she said: Today I'm adding an addition to my setup. She added, a fricking mac studio, and a touch pad the price of my fricking monitor.

I looove me a nice quality mechanical keyboard but ONLY if they have very short travel keys, the one she’s using looked like it had the worst keys ever if you type a lot, so I understand how she thinks typing on thr magic keyboard seems amazing. In my experience and humble opinion, typing on a mechanical keyboard with long travel keys is satisfying IF you only type casually, but if your workload relies on typing a lot and with a great speed (especially if you touch type) those thicc keyed keyboards are literal H€LL. For example I do translation so short travel keys are always my go to, and imo mechanical keyboards with low travel keys are almost the same as the magic keyboard (yes a little less satisfying but it’s unnoticeable unless you look for it) so I just get some nice padding for my wrists to sit on, elevate the keyboard a bit, and start typing away! I type so much faster on them and they don’t strain my hands after hours of typing. For her I imagine it’s quite similar as she uses her keyboard a lot when coding, but I could be wrong!

@@aabderrahmane I agree. I bought a similar fun looking mechanical keyboard, assuming it would be really satisfying to type on, but it was actually very uncomfortable compared to a cheap Dell mechanical keyboard.

@@es70 It is. But I’ve felt non worthy because I cannot afford all this useless and in the end expensive crap. I decides to try and prevent a few people from feeling that. It sucks. But we are not these people on videos, living perfect, chill awsthetic lives with their 7k computers and perfectly matched rooms and decor items that can spend 1000€+ on amazon crap and tech a month. Most of us aren’t. And I think too many people feel like failures for not being that way.

You should not put anything near the computer because it blocks ventilation. In the video it looks like the stuffed thing blocks the exhausts vents. Just a suggestion, love the setup

I love my Magic Trackpad, Keyboard and Studio Display. Treated myself to the studio a couple of weeks ago (was using a curved ultrawide gaming monitor before) and I’ve not looked back. The speakers are just so good. Having a built in webcam is neat. And it just looks so good even without any local dimming and HDR.

Like I swear, if those are the big studio displays like the pro ones, both of them would literally cost more than your entire set up, including the table chair, monitor and everything on that desk. @@guniiiish Mac Studio starts at $2,000 & the M2 Ultra version costs $4,000 & the Studio Display costs $1,600. Add all that together & it’s nowhere near $20K. This is the M2 Ultra version, so $4,000 plus $1,600= $5,600. Not to mention, the $4,000 M2 Ultra Mac Studio is faster than a $5,500 windows pc. Go watch Luke Maini or Max Tech where the M2 Ultra Mac Studio destroyed the more expensive $5,500 windows pc.
