5 жыл бұрынI have obtained an ideal knife. A full custom Shamwari from South African Knifemaker Gareth Bull.
This knife features:
3.5" M390 blade
- Mirrored swedge and flats
- hand rubbed satin primary bevel
Ceramic bearings
Chad Nichols 3-alloy Mokume pivot collars
Zirconium pivot face (I said "lock face" in the video, my bad)
Carbonplate Bronze Lava CF
Bronze Anodized frame, clip, and screws

Not gonna lie, think anything dimascus-y is very unattractive but WOW! That pivot collar and back spacer are 😍. The is one of the most aesthetically perfect knives I've ever seen. 👍🤟

Literally the ideal knife. I'd spec mine in timascus with natural abalone accents but WOW that action is silky.

That knife will be hard to beat. Congratulations! I’m glad to hear your enthusiasm for the knife isn’t deterred by its lack of a backspacer - despite remarks about standoffs I’ve heard on Knife Cast. Of course it doesn’t hurt that the standoff is as striking as that one. What would Tyler say?

On handle materials I own a Chris Reeve sebenza 21 and a CoodSteel code 4 the only 2 I regret buying. I don't know what it is about Titanium or timascus I just don't like the feel of it too slippery for me.

The scales would be the coolest w/ the CF with lighting strike "Squares" like pattern, whatever they call the material. Or maybe silver dust impregnated.

Very nice looking knife, but I don't like front flippers. They are too awkward to use, in my humble opinion.
