Your instruction booklet will tell you everything you need to know about all of the little extras but I think that little thing you are holding up is to punch out eyelets. When you use the eyelet stitch.

Ooooh, if I were going to buy a new machine this would be it! I love my Juki serger. My old Pfaff has a lot of the same features - self-winding bobbin, auto up and down presser foot, etc. I'm amazed at how so many of the features haven't changed but the newer technology has made it better. Can't wait to see what beautiful things you'll make with this!

Thanks Jen, I’m amazed by it already! I’ve made a dog coat and a clutch bag already to get used to the zipper foot etc, it’s fabby! X

Hi Adam. Kia ora from New Zealand. New subscriber here. I've had the Juki TL2010Q for about six months. I got it specifically for my "heavier" projects like bag making etc although I've just finished a pair of 7/8 pants for myself on it. That is also a very heavy machine. It sure doesn't move around the table!! I've also just got the Juki coverstitch machine. You won't regret the quality. Take care and happy sewing.

Hi 👋 thanks for stopping by, that fab to hear, I have a babylock coverstitch which I believe it made by juki aswell, which is also fab, so have good expectations for the new addition ☺️

how exciting! You inspired me to pull out the Brother machine that my son bought me a year or so ago... I just can't seem to get past the learning curve after using my old Kenmore for 30 years, but I am going to give it another go! What a wonderful gift- happy holidays!

Congratulations! You got the same Juki I bought. I love mine once I figured out it doesn't like cheap thread :) I'm not scared to use decorative stitches on a garment with this machine, it stitches out so accurately. I really need to play with mine more, but excited to see what I can learn from you :) Have a wonderful weekend!

I have a Juki industrial 9000c FMS and live it….once you have the cutter you never go back, and I love the machine, but I need some extra stitches, glad this one has the cutter and foot lift…I think this is the one…thanks so much for the video…☺️. Very helpful for my final decision.

This is exciting. One of my machines is Juki 2000 that is industrial straight stitch only and I love it. I too have couple Berninas, serger,and considering a cover stitch. I am anxious to see how you like your new machine. I love the knee lift on my Juki and it also cuts the thread which is wonderful. It is going to be amazing. Happy Sewing, you will enjoy.

Thankyou, this is amazing, I’ve had a brief play today and it’s so accurate, through multiple layers of wool and fleece too, exactly the same effortless stitching as my bernina 1230 and 850 industrie, I’d love a go on a juki struaght stitch, gorgeous machines they are

@AdamSews2 жыл бұрын
Deffo consider it, it’s a fabulous machine, it handles fabric so well and the modern berninas are not quite like they were years ago, like for like features, the Juki is much more economical price wise in comparison to a Bernina
@EileenR112 жыл бұрын
@@AdamSews Cheers Adam. I checked the specs and, sad that I am, I was most taken with the straight stitch function. Not having to worry about delicate fabrics being chewed up would be almost worth an upgrade in itself. I did note the separate walking foot - I have been rather tempted by the built-in versions in Pfaff and Bernina, so interested to see how you get on with that.
@AdamSews2 жыл бұрын
@@EileenR11 I’ll keep you posted once I’ve had a play with it, I had a Janome 6600 that had the built in accufeed and I prefer a separate foot to be honest and the feed dog system on the juki is excellent so far

Adam I’m so excited for you. That is my go to machine. I have 7 different machines and each time I end up resorting to this very one. I also have the Juki serger and Juki coverstitch. Love them all. Can’t wait to see your adventures and makes on this wonderful machine. I never had any issues with mine. I have had it for about 6 years now and have never taken it to get serviced. I know I know. Shame on me. But it runs and stitches beautifully like the first day I set it up.

That’s so lovely to hear! Thankyou, there’s some horror stories about them and it was worrying me a little, I am very gentle with speed arc on my machines, a lot of mine are over 20 years old and I don’t like to work them too hard so hearing that has made me less terrified of using it to it’s full potential. Thanks for stopping by! ☺️

@@AdamSews I have made probably a hundred or more box pouches, about 40 rag quilts (most Queen size), regular quilts, a couple t-shirt quilts, a jelly roll rug, and tons of garments on this machine. I find it so versatile. I love how it starts out at slow speed. Also I have my foot pedal set the back stitch when I press my heel down. You can also set it to raise the presser foot. I just love it. I have way too many machines but about 7 of them are in my rotation usually. I have my oldies that I honestly just need to play around with. One of my machines is a Janome mc 6600p and as I love that machine I find myself still resorting back to my Juki hzl dx-7. It has proven to be a true work horse. And you are right! That bad boy is heavy 😂 Thank you for sharing. I always love your videos. I made so many pumpkins and wanted to send you pics but I am probably the last person on earth who doesn’t have Instagram or Facebook or even Twitter. I just never got on that train but all my kids have.

@@faith3557 oh that so funny you should mention that, I had the exact same MC6600 and I hated it lol I took it back after a week and got the Bernina industrie instead 😆 that’s fab to know! @@AdamSews Yes!! I have heard mixed reviews on the Janome 6600. I also have the Bernina 790 and I do love it but I still love my Juki more. That is a beast of a machine. I have the brothers nx450 and I do love that one as well. I am ashamed at how many machines I have. It’s hard for me to see them not have a home so I give them a home 😊 Can’t wait to see what you create with your new Juki

Hey Adam also I plan on using the decorative stitches for hems and designs and such, is the largest they go 7mm high? Are the stitches in the quilt/blanket stitch category larger or they are also limited to 7mm high? I already figured the right dial on the keypad can change the spacing between the decorative stitches but didn’t know how much the left dial on the keypad changes the overall height. I can’t seem to find this out. Thanks so much!
@AdamSews4 ай бұрын
It may be worth contacting your local dealership and asking the question, I know you have the combine functionality, but I’m not sure if that will allow for larger stitching width, I would imagine 7mm would be the widest because of the throw of the left to right of the needle bar. Sorry I can’t be more helpful
