Welcome guys and gals. So in this episode I am unboxing the Kactoily 6 in 1 water monitor,
I've had it sat here quite a while but its about time I got it up and running, and so far so good, looks a good bit of kit so far. But i will give a full review after playing with it and testing it for a while.

Good to see you out and about & looking healthy Jamie. 👍 Hope they eventually develop one for us koi pond owners but I have a 7 in 1 ordered few days ago & coming to me that I’ll try out in (once it’s built! 😂) my filter house. Thanks for that info on USBs rusting easily. Will have to see how that goes as there’s moisture in all filter houses I reckon. Now we just need some warm weather or at least sunshine!!! ☀️ 😂😊. Gloomy or rainy gray days here have been non stop.

Yeh fingers crossed we've had a couple of days of sunshine but mainly the same grey and gloomy. And thanks yeh still on the mend but loads better 😊

Hi Jamie, interesting to see your results so far. Hopefully they will be more accurate than first thought. My Kactoily 7 in 1 is currently in transit to me, so keen to know how they are. Just curious, when did you last use a calibration solution on your salinity tester ? Nice update, definitely a review I will be looking to see the results of mate…… 😊👍🏼

Hey Andy I've replaced the batteries in it and it's back to working perfectly now 👍 yeh as I was recording it actually died on me lol just needed to get out and find a battery 👍

@@keepingitkoi Excellent Jamie….. 👍🏼 So by that, do you mean, the tester was then giving the reading you were expecting, of around 0.14, if I remember correctly ? 🤔 😊

@AndysKoiPuddle yes the kactoily was spot on it was the koi medic that gave a false reading cos the battery was dead 👍
