Looked up that kit. Very reasonable price. I basically bought the same "kit" from snap-on back in the day. Still have every tool. But of course I repair gas powered things as a career so it was a must have. Sadly it was like 60k back then.

Yea funny story me and my cousin opened a speed shop in 2009 with only my Craftsman tool set and he bought all snap on and matco and I still have had less broken tools and had mine 10 years longer than him still lifetime warranty if something does happen so best investment I ever made and still his worst he says haha wishes he saved 20-25k and stayed away from paying for a name the impacts piss him off Alot too our Milwaukee stuff is way better than our snap on impacts but to each his own whatever .makes you happy or you think is necessary is all that matters

The biggest handheld torque wrench I have ever seen was 1100ftlbs. Was used at a shipyard. We called it Excalibur. It was over 4 feet long before putting the extension on it. Beyond that, we used hydraulic torque rigs.

@@TommyG_0311 I wish I knew how old it was. We had some snap on torque wrenches from the 1940s. The shipyard has been around since the early 1900s, and we still had a handful of old tools dating all the way back. Most were kept only for display, but some were still in regular use. If I had to guess, I'd say Excalibur was likely a 40s or 50s era tool based on the design. We also had sockets up to 6" that ran on a 2.5" drive air impact, Allen wrenches up to 2"...tons of cool stuff.

@@domesticterroristAtari Taiwan makes excellent quality products, most of the world’s computer chips are made there. They also make world class musical instruments. Occasionally you will find poor quality or cheaply made stuff from Taiwan but they don’t really do that, why make cheap trash when you can make quality and get top dollar for it? China is the opposite, they can’t get top dollar so they make trash and occasionally you get a manufacturer who wants to make quality products. Don’t confuse Taiwanese made with Chinese made, they are not comparable.
