I agree! It fits that niche that those of us who are hobbyists or casual users needed. For me, getting the MacBook Pro would be like buying a Dodge Challenger when all I needed was a Prius.

Def want to know your thoughts when you test out FCP on this MacBook Air.....That will help me decide whether to cop this or not.( Although I do have a Macbook pro 13" older model tho ) Thx for the awesome video!

I would jump all over a lavender Macbook air that matched the iPad lineup purple color. Heard last year they were going to release one and they never did. But I am still VERY tempted to just get the 15 inch. I currently have the M1 air and it's great but I want the newest toys!

I bought my first MacBook back when the 16” intel one came out. I absolutely didn’t need that power but the size is really what I wanted. I’ve been wanting a 16” MacBook air forever. Now it’s out but I’d now like a 12.9 iPad Air.

I'm trading in my M1, 8 GB, 256 SSD for an M2, 16 GB, 512 SSD, 15". I always use an external SSD drive anyway, but I needed a little more power. I do a lot of presentations and needed the extra. The M chips are awesome and I love the fact that the laptops don't burn up whatever they are sitting on because of the heat.

It is definitely the perfect size.. I returned my 13 inch m2 air for the 15 in midnight.. and its most definitely once again the perfect size..

Pick mine up tomorrow at my local Best Buy. But thanks Apple for listening to the consumer even though this was well overdue lol. But now I won't have to drop 2000 just to get a bigger screen on my laptop. My first MacBook Pro was a 15 inch. However the pro is now so expensive especially if you just prefer the extra screen real estate. This MacBook Air will be popular and is right in time for the college kids headed back to school soon. Can't wait to get my hands on it. Thanks for the review per usual.

I'm just finding you so thank you for the video! I've been waiting for Apple to come out with a 15 inch laptop for so long that I almost "downgraded" from my 15 in. HP to the 14 in. macbook pro. So glad I held out! The 16 inch would have been wayyy too big and unnecessary for me after seeing them in store as I'm only using my computer for everyday normal activities.

I don't like the size of this 15" very much (I feel the Air loses a bit of that extreme portability that made it unique), but speaking objectively this is gonna be perfect for all those users who want a big screen but cannot afford the Pro 16" - or who simply don't need that kind of power.

I do like the midnight color but 15 inch 😮 can’t wait to upgrade from 13.3 intel to the new one but staying the same size going with the midnight color

I was told to get the MacBook Air M2 13" or 15" 16GB RAM & 512GB SSD(lowest) for something portable but, functional for software engineering. The Apple Advisor who told me this is going to school for computer science.

Is that charger enough when using the MacBook Air at full load? The other day, I was using my 14’ M1 with a 65W charger while doing some heavy work, and that charger was crying for dear life. She was burning up, charging plateaued, and eventually began discharging between disconnects. I could only imagine 35W at full load, even on the air, would do the same. I was using a Shargeek 65W charger and not Apple’s, but still.

Lol if this ain't heavy for you then neither is 14" M1 Pro, which has ports, fans, and a 120hz screen. Gimmicky product, really.
