I have explained everything on this video, I guess you want to watch and learn, the answer is No Sim it has to be paired with your phone all the time.

How do you find the dial section in the app? I can’t find it.

Your watch must be Bluetooth paired and make sure calling is selected and the your menu should show you dial pad.
