How do you get the vortex jd65 ultra to work?? It turns on and is connected to wifi but when you try to make a call it says mobile network is not available. Help is needed

Did you insert your sim? Did you activate your account? Did you pay your bill? Are you in a valley or surrounded by tall buildings. I used to have a phone where I had to go outside on my front porch to get it to connect to mobile signal. You'll figure it out. Good luck!

When you get a Vortex new - from the financial aid program - it does come with a sim card.

If you have any social service, a rep may be outside the county building and you’ll be to get one for free. (Under the ACP “Obama phone” program, how I got mines today).

This came in the mail today.... but I don't remember ordering the phone from anyone! The odd and suspicious thing is it's addressed to me.... but the "from" / "return address" on the package is the exact same address as it's addressed to : MYSELF. Very strange and suspicious....there's no customer service number anywhere to be found in the box or on any paperwork. What the hell ????

This feels like deja vu - al over again - but different but the same. I thought I already shipped it but, I don't remember shipping you one. Wait, I don't remember writing that? Is this thing on? I just wrote this again. Or did I? Did you hack the system? It's typing automatically - I'm not doing anything...the VORTEX has taken me in. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Yes you can. You can do whatever you want. I have personally used Smart Switch when changing phones (to transfer data, apps, pics, etc).

Is there a phone plan that’s attached to the vortex that I received?

You will have to plug in the sim to find out. If you got it thru a financial assistance program, then you can be 99.99% sure that it has a plan. Look through your paperwork or contact the person / entity who shipped you the phone to double check if things don't go easily for you.

does it make a phone call? If not, then go to WHO shipped it to you and get the rest of your answers. Good luck.

@@JasonClements No. I don't know what I"m going to do with the devices, today, I saw someone selling the phone on the street in the bronx. Obviously, they're scamming the government. It's instructing me to transfer the data from my iphone via Google and I'm hesitant to do that. I've logged into google on the phone. There's no paperwork, just a return address on the envelope, but I've already recycled that.
