@@JasonClements I was just curious as to how the CG65 would compare with the Blu View 4. From what I understand the CG65 has more RAM (4GB vs 3 GB) and ROM (64GB vs 32GB) and an Octa-core processor verses Quad-core. I was hoping to find a review of the CG65 but can't find seem to find one.

For budget phones, I appreciate that Vortex provides a case and a shield right out of the box. Both are adequate for basic calling and use. If you are going to do a lot of pic/vid - I am not happy with the quality of the Vortex phone's cameras. (I use my phone a ton for vid / pics so I would choose BLU 4). It looks like you've got a handle on what you need and you'll make a good decision. Best to you!

Brand new? If it is brand new, factory reset it and try again. If it doesn't get better right away take it back. Or request a replacement from your customer service. good luck!

I have the Vortex HD 65 but not the Select. What’s the difference? I dont like this phone and everyone who has it had a hard time opening it up. I figured it out and everyone was so grateful when I posted on a review of the phone. . Yes the camera on mine sucks too. I use my phone more for the camera then calling. I got it when I signed up for the Lifeline govt program.
