I listened to the full interview twice. Both Shannon and Katt were excellent in their roles. Everyone listens to long form media now. It's how we get through the work week. Good stuff.

Ocho kept this completely objective because he acknowledges that he isn't experienced with intellectual property. As a football player tho, he should know what gatekeepers are: people who can influence you getting into the game and/or reducing your game.

I keep hearing many people miss the integrity part of what Katt is saying. Example: Someone stealing a joke you really use, or a show idea like “Mr Cooper” is more so a problem when there has been a lack of support or honour after that person has let it pass. His problem wasn’t even as much that Cedric took the joke, as he said it was apologised for afterwards and he’s let it slide. The PRINCIPLE problem is that later, Cedric has tried to play Katt like it didn’t happen. Probably neither him or any of the others have helped the people once they got on, and that’s principle. It’s not the small part, it’s the principle of their character after the small thing. Just my opinion.

Why not give them writing credits if you like their jokes.

First and foremost...Katt is and has always been the truth. Imitation is the highest level of flattery(CORRECT). The reference to Martin was a spot-on choice. Actually, there is a young man on KZfaq who has a show with his wife. It's called E and Nik Nation. I love the channel, but I'm always reminiscing on Jerome and Roscoe from Martin because of the two main characters that he features. Those characters are named Uncle Daddy and Slow-motion. Again, it's a good channel, but one could say that there is a bit of the Imitation thing happening.

I really like Ocho’s point. It’s true what he says about us milking drama out of our own and tearing us down as a result. The issue is we don’t come from wealth so theres a lot of trauma in the community. When one of us ‘makes’ it, it’s often with baggage. Some pay it forward, some don’t.
