Oh My Gosh it’s Friday, September 15. I still am trying to decide on piano songs to rearrange. So this is a “Good Gosh it’s Friday One Take and be done with it Piano song, arranged for guitar. Written by Hy Zaret, lyrics, and Alex North, music for the 1955 movie “Unchained” (a prison movie), I took that route in my arrangement, to put this in a lower register, to envision a prison mate with rock dust evolving his voice. If you listen far enough through this recording, I do take it to a climax, visioning a different inmate crying for his love, then resolving back to the deep voiced inmate. The acoustic guitar is my “fold-up” Voyage-air VAOM-02. It won over all my other guitars for this recording of “Unchained Melody”.
