I have fairly vivid memories of those days. Even after the demo hit PSN, there still wasn't ~that~ much buzz. But once the game released and word of mouth started spreading, that's when it started to happen.

it's crazy watching this, and comparing it to TLoU2. I remember this coming out and being visually stunning. (UC2 was where it got serious) The UC4 trailer as well... wow.... how far we've come.

In 2007 my friend gave a DVD for this game, and i thought it was an ordinary game, and honestly when i played it i thought it was Great but never thought it's a masterpiece but the 3rd one was and it made me think that the first one was also the same. I liked the first game a lot because of it's realistic graphics.

its crazy to think back then you could show gameplay in such early stages of completion unlike now where its all cgi or in engine cutscenes i miss the days like this where you could get a glimpse at an unfinished product and imagine its potential

None of this is gameplay. The visuals look nowhere like this in the final game. Still looked amazing for it's time (the actual final product).

I've never actually played this game, but I know about the Uncharted series. I became a fan when I saw 'Uncharted 2: Among Thieves' by chance at a store named 'Cash Crusaders'. Funny, right? 🤣🤣 At the time, When purchasing "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves" I had no idea about Nathan Drake. Ergo, you can imagine my excitement when I saw the action, and the graphics for the first time

Kinda wish Nate's outfit in this trailer was the final version of the game's "canon" outfit, instead of just being an unlockable skin. The plain white t-shirt he has in U1 is kind of a boring outfit.

Uncharted 1 is legendary. But the fact this trailer gives no story OR dialogue or EVEN secondary characters makes me feel uncomfortable for some reason
