It's kind of interesting. When I was younger, Uncle Buck was shown quite a few times on Disney Channel back in the early 2000s (I kid you not). It was such a unique experience to be a little kid back in the late 1990s and early 2000s because the three most important cable channels for kids at the time {Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network} were able to put movies on that you don't normally see. @@Movin2Elite The VHS copy I had of this movie was recorded off the TV, so until recently, I never knew Bug got back up again after being hit by the first golf ball! The TV edit had Buck celebrate after landing the first hit [end scene]. Given how many times I watched this movie as a kid, it’s weird for me now to see how the full scene plays out.

@Guy Incognito No, it doesn't. My dad was the same way, and he was a phenomenal father. He did show us by setting a good example, but he also understood that he wasn't the only person we could learn behaviors from and that at some point, we would do things on our own. So he made sure we knew that there was no place in our house for that crap. Parents have to be willing to lay down the law if they want the best for their kids is life
