Great video - here's another tip... rap the part of the strap that you are not removing, tightly with electrical tape then as you pull the pins out, the razor loops stay in place :)

I just finished mine, it looks intimidating but it is actually pretty easy to size. The bracelet looks great and it is really comfortable. This tutorial was really helpful, thank you so much!

Of course! I still think these are the best alternative bracelets on the market for your SKX case. So gnarly.

I was nervous, but after watching this, found sizing my new bracelet remarkably easy. Couldn’t have done it without your video though, and I really appreciate you Patrick. Cheers.

I just took delivery of this bracelet for an SKX today. This vid made sizing it so much easier than I imagine it would have been without it. Thanks for your time investment in sharing this 😊

You need the patience of a saint and the skills of a brain surgeon to do that! Bravo to you!

Hahaha, it is quite a procedure, but definitely one folks'll be able to tackle on their own. It certainly *does require* patience.

Great advice. "Easy" to do. Patience is necessary, but it's not hard to do. Great advice because, as always, "I do it my way.... " and adjusted 2 differents ways, it wasn't comfy. I finaly followed the vid and it rest perfectly on my wrist. Very nice product by the way.

I sized mine. It was much easier than it looked. All those links are pretty daunting looking at first, bit once you get into it it's not bad. This bracelet, btw, is probably the most comfortable one I have ever worn. I even really like the hollow end links. I know they get a lot of bad press, but I don't see anything really bad about them.
@TakeTimewPatrickMarlett

Neither do I... So use to hollow end links. I have watches with them, with solid end links, with straight ends... Doesn't matter. Also, completely agreed on the comfort of the Razor-Wire. One of the *best wearing bracelets* I've had the pleasure of owning. *Period*

I just put mine on my seiko turtle and agree that it's pretty easy to resize. Took me 35mins 😁 but my god its so comfortable. More comfortable than the beads of rice bracelets

Thank you for this tutorial, it's very helpful as I intend to get one of this and do it myself. Greatly appreciate for your time and effort for putting this vid together, is very clear, precise and comprehensive. Awesome vid! Have a nice day! P.S. Is better than the last one you did last year, correct me if I'm wrong.

It's not rocket surgery, but resizing this bracelet definitely requires some patience and fine motor control - I managed to get it done without TOO much colorful language. Thanks for the very helpful video.

Great video of a great bracelet. I don't recommend trying to size this one yourself unless you have excellent eyesight and a steady hand....and patience.

At That Point, call friend put watch in bag, drop watch at jeweler/watchmaker, go have a couple beers and a snack! Go pick up the finished watch, good to go! Hahaha!

Hahaha, it took me... fifteen minutes or so to size it the first time. The surface you work on also helps/hinders the process (felt maybe not being the best surface). However, it’s satisfying to know it *can be* done. 👌⌚️

OK. Got the bracelet today and it was frustrating. I finally got it. Your video definitely helped, but still I got the pattern wrong. I had to do it a couple of times. Grrr. Looks great now, though.

Wouldn't it be easier to simply remove the first "full links" starting from the buckle and remove as many as possible and then connect the bracelet again to the last link at the buckle, that is in fact solid and just requires to order the 4 "wires" so that the outer 2 of them are pointing outwards and the other 2 are converging inwards? Would make it much easier than trying to arrange 8 wires in the correct order?

I thought this was about measuring wrist size and bracelet, not connecting links... title is a little misleading but great video tutorial though on the links... not the sizing part.
@TakeTimewPatrickMarlett
@TakeTimewPatrickMarlett 4 жыл бұрын
Sizing & removing links go hand-in-hand. *Golden Rule* to sizing anything, can your index finger comfortably fit between your wrist and the strap/bracelet? If so, it’s sized properly.

There is absolutely nothing, and I mean nothing easy about doing this. Seriously, take it to a jewellers and save yourself the time and stress of trying to do this. I promise it is well worth the money.
