I have had and still have a few of the Speedmasters, 321’s and later 1861-63’s. Also had some 6139’s and still got one plus some 6138’s. When it comes to “use in space” I still think the Speedmaster has the edge as I suspect it got the edge on the Seiko in terms of build quality. When you look at those tests NASA put those watches through and the Omega was the only one working after all those tests I suspect the Seiko would fall through as it’s more fragile than the Omega.

This was my watch that he reviewed. I did end up keeping it for a while, but then sold it to someone in France because it wouldn't keep good time. I massively regret selling it and periodically look for another one to come up for sale.. unfortunately, the bronze model with blue dial and stick markers are seemingly non-existent.

Avoid the hybrid options because they don't mould around the wrist , and the straps suit more military style pilot and field watches, and if you don't have large lug holes the logo should not be a issue.

Great video and great example you are showing. As someone who has small wrists I believe the better of the two evils is a med-large wrist wearing a small watch vs small wrist wearing med-large watches. A smaller watch may look a little off on a bigger wrist but you can still wear them. When you have smaller wrists you can’t even wear most watches thus being limited.

I don't know how this weird urban myth started that the zaratsu cases for Casio and Grand Seiko are made in the same factory. When I bought my Oceanus, in Japan, I asked the salesman if it was true. He looked surprised and said no, they are made in separate prefectures. My understanding - I may be wrong - is that they both, along with Citizen, make everything in-house. BTW, I LOVE my Oceanus.

I’m not certain as to what this watch offered in a mass market flooded by repro and other watches, I hadn’t seen the original to compare, however, it’s been cheapified by that exhibition case back, and that strap was naff. And for what ever price it sold for, expected a decent movement. That’s a whopping £704.39 Pound sterling here in the United Kingdom. The case was out of proportion to those small lugs being too small, didn’t like that date window either, a much smaller version with a case size of 30mm minus the crown would have been better. Would I buy it? NO. Too overpriced.

Overprice. A lot of bullshit. Mediocre style and quality. The case and straps very easy to scratch. They said you can return for 90 days but the watch must be unworn which is does not make any sense. How could you try and feel the watch without wearing it? More important things, they wont give you refund in original payment instead they will give you a store credit. That is after they questions you so many things like private investigator. So please think couple times before you plan to purchase it. And they will trick you to give 5 stars review by giving $25 coupon and will use your review to defend themselves if you have any complaint with the watch. The also will push you follow the social medias and share with friends to get more coupon. The $50 cash back they offer will be vested after 30 days after your purchase date. Lastly if you want to change the straps/bands every day it will be PITA. You will need special tools and if you are not a pro, you will ruin the watch. I prefer quick release band like what Garmin has.

Have this same watch and am original owner! Had it in a drawer for the last 40 years or so and just found it! It is in very good shape and still working so I will be wearing it again! Hope my other newer Seikos won’t be too jealous lol! Cheers!

i have mine on seiko far spring bars but you just have to get a dedicated pair for them so you leave it in there
