Just wanted to let you guys know, those child seats in the bathrooms stalls already exists. They fold down like theatre seats and have straps with buckles. They're usually only in the bigger stalls though. I can't recall where exactly I've seen them though. Also Matt, if you don't struggle with migraines, you'll never understand. They are debilitating. I went through the entire list of FDA approved and non FDA approved medication trying to find something that wpuld help but not screw me up in one way or another. It's tough. Have a bit more compassion for your wife's struggles.

Ummm I’m pretty sure Abby has on multiple occasions told Matt his illnesses are something he can just will away with his mind. So while I agree migraines are debilitating… it’s not like she’s ever shown compassion for him being sick. Not too mention these two don’t read or respond to comments.

Considering that Abby will still go to the gym and work out when she's got an illness that knocks you (Matt) down, the migraines and vertigo are clearly debilitating if they are keeping her from maintaining her usual activities. It's obvious that she does not make up or exaggerate symptoms in order to gain sympathy or get out of tasks.

My mom has had vertigo for pretty much her whole adult life and it can be horrible! Before she knew what it was, she went to the ER one time for it and was crying saying “I’m dying!” Over and over. The doctors and nurses were really horrible to her until her blood work came back clean- they thought she was on drugs😢 her issue is with the “crystals” in her inner ear. It’s often triggered by high sodium or MSG intake and she takes meclizine when she feels it coming on. It’s effective but knocks her out for several hours.

One of the “leashes” saved my cousin’s life when she was little!! She was a runner and would just take off at random and one day she took off toward the road. There were 6 of us outside, but she was quick and we stopped her by catching her leash backpack she had on. Not so sure that if she hadn’t have been wearing it we would’ve caught up to her in time and we lived on a very busy road!! No shame!!! If your child is dangerous to themselves without it, you gotta do what you gotta do to keep them safe!!! I grew up in the 90s/early 2000s and these weren’t really a thing yet, but I do remember in school the teachers having a rope with a handle for each of us that we had to hold while walking to make sure we stayed together… multi person leash lol!! 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

The neurologist actually told me the opposite of what you said, Abby lol. Migraines don't go away with OTC meds, but they will with sleep. You need prescription meds for migraines. I was asked if I got migraines, and I said that I didn't really know the difference. She asked if I ever got headaches that didn't go away with meds but would go away with sleep. When I said yes, she was like that's a migraine. I was floored lol.

In Australia I’m not a parent myself but I’ve seen shopping centres have started to incorporate a restroom that is for parents, I’ve never been inside but I assume it’s where babies can be changed, has kid sized toilets and it must be easier for the parents to go to the bathroom with kids as well

I got mastitis when my baby just turned 1 and it got so bad that I went to patient first and my temp was almost 103, my blood pressure was 95/63, heart rate 116, and they immediately called an ambulance to take me to the ER for sepsis. Then I got it again when my baby was 20 months and again, fever over 103 and luckily I got it fixed quick but yes, it can happen even when baby is older!

Just a tip, Abby, you may want to check your liver enzymes. My mom had really bad headaches after having her 7th baby and found that she had nonalcoholic liver failure. She did a lot of liver detoxing and the headaches we gone in within 2 weeks.

Girl idk why they’re doing tests on you for Vertigo and not just doing the Epley Maneuver, classic case of over prescribing. It can be as easy as your crystals in your ear getting discombobulated and boom you get vertigo, please get a second opinion.

Just moved to Phoenix last August from the Midwest so it was my first “winter” here and yes the 70 degree weather is cold because of the dry air. Our house would be FREEZING in the AM as if we were back in the Wisconsin fall at 40 degree weather. I’m no weenie to cold weather either because I was born and raised there and spent 25 years of my life there.

If you’re still having vertigo go to PT or look up epley maneuver instructions to complete at home. If the dizziness is a result of BPPV, it’s usually a quick fix.

The clogged duct issue has happened to me also. Dont feel bad. I had struggled with it for days, and by the time it was relieved, I filled up a 5 oz bottle. Milk was spraying across the room. I ran to the kitchen and grabbed the bottle. I could feel the milk up under my arm pit, the pressure was so intense. It's comical to look back on now, that was 9 years ago.

Also, good job on not using screens when you travel! I promise it can be done…. Harder in the beginning but worth it when they’re older! We travel internationally, several times a year with 4 kids age 4-12 and they do amazing! You can do it!!

My husband helped me out on more than one occasion with milk ducts over the course of 4 kids. Also - for Matt, human milk doesn’t expire, but I’m sure the taste changed if there was a potential infection present. Way to be there for your honey though, Matt 😊 and Abby, you’re in good company 😁👊🏻

Yeah, they have them in certain Walmarts and Sam’s Club have them, you have to go in the handicap stall though. But I think when you have kids, it’s justified because you can’t really fit in a regular style with them anyway.

Some stalls do have a foldable seat for a baby. Ive never used them. I would put mine in a stroller. If stall is too small I’ll use a larger stall, keep the door ajar. Works in an empty bathroom. Stroller provides some privacy.

It is his AGE it just becomes more from 1-4 years old! Its a wild ride with toddlers. my son is exactly the same way he goes hard and plays hard. He is always on the move and doesn't like slowing down. I have to make him hes almost 4 years old now to go in his room and have 'relax time he will play or look at books for 20 minutes. He is at the age where naps are going away but he goes so hard. So many emotions at this age! Hold on for the ride! We have Irish twins and it can be complete chaos lol! But I also have two older kids so I know this doesn't last forever at all

Kids and screen time - I think it all depends on what your day to day is like and what you choose. We just flew with our 3 and 2 year old, flights 1 hour and 4 hours, and we don’t use screens. Our kids totally did fine! Yes I brought tonsssss of snacks, and coloring activities, and their babies, and some stickers and gel stickers for the airplane window. But it is totally doable! Because we travel all the time with no screens so our kids don’t know any different :)

the non alcoholic beer, does have alcohol. Not very much, but just enough that not anyone can have it. My newly married husband and I were on our honeymoon, and I was only 19 at the time (he was 27) and he asked me if I wanted a sip to try it, and I said yes. well the waitress said "DONT YOU DARE DRINK THAT" and come to find out there is enough of alcohol in them, that they could have gotten in trouble if i drank it.
