Awesome Leroy! I'm fifteen.. I've held my breath since the age of five.. it's amazing! It's so thrilling~ I can only hold.. 45 seconds.. I was wondering what video I should try... maybe C02 tables 30 secs?

Love your tutorials, talks and coaching-videos. I am a beginner, have approximately 10 vertical diving sessions and 10 dynanic once. Since february I intensified my breath-table-training-sessions an sessions in the pool. The thing is that I increasingly have painful stomach aces during training and now also when not training. Due to the contraction-phases. Both on land and in the water. It seems like a stress reaction. And it gets better when I don't push the contractions. Have you ever heard of this? Since I bought my dive computer/clock (Garmin Decent) I also noticed that getting down in pulse is really easy when I train breath-tables on my own. However in the pool-area with so much noise and people I find it really hard. Could you recommend a meditation or other tricks you think could help me?

I dive for crayfish with a buddy in 5m often but most of the time we are far apart. If one of us blackout it will be some time before we find the person - the only thing we have is our dive flag to mark the area. Very not good as it’s rare for us to be properly relaxed and we really are not looking after each other

Hi Gert! My normal breath hold time (not max, just normal) without any warm ups or breathe ups is about 2.5 minutes. Now let’s say I just don’t want to forget how to do it. Will holding my breath for 2.5 minutes twice every single day prevent me from forgetting how to hold my breath comfortably for this amount of time? Thanks :)

I did taekwondo in my 20's. I learned how to kick hard. Now 20 years later I started Thai box, and I still know how to kick hard. A skill you learn, you never forget 🙏

Gert hi, can you explain how fluid goggles work. I can't find information anywhere and I am surprised by them. How come you can see with water inside your goggles, I don't get it. Thank You

@@gertleroy ok get it, but does that compensates seeing with water in between? As long as I know seeing with water isn’t comfortable and clear. And another question. I have seen all of your videos and many others and have read tons of articles and blogs about the equipment I should buy for starting Free Diving (I am having my first course in 1 month) and it’s not clear if I should base my purchase in any specific brand (I get it that I should get the one that fits the better), but I have seen some of the CORE gear of Molchanovs (I know it’s a very good brand), cressi, scuba pro. So I don’t know if brands really matter (the known brand)? Thanks

@@jacobovelez5711 in a beginners course you will get your gear from the school. unless they explicitly say that would not be the case. when you do follow up coaching sessions after your first course, or you immediately jump into a second course, you'll Stull be using the gear from the school. so don't bother. you need no equipment at this stage. About brands: it doesnt matter. it's all marketing. just buy affordable entry level wetsuit, mask, snorkwl and fins. AFTER you do your course. cheers 🙏

@@jacobovelez5711 yes corrective lenses compensate the loss is vision due to the water. but not entirely. just good enough to see the line. fluid goffles are for competitive deep diving. you don't need them as a beginner
