Parts of the lyrics (those that go "what's the point of living when my hands keep falling apart?" Etc.) Kinda remind me of the horror of mundane exhausting life where everything is the same. A boring routine that stretches for as long as your entire life (or most of it) is real hell. Makes you feel like you're practically dead in all the kinds definitions of that and the motif of a zombie kinda reflects that.

Honestly i find the lyrics incredibly relatable. I have some issues with perceiving reality and especially myself fully, and because of that feel sort of dead or soulless. I can’t recognise my face and so usually avoid looking in mirrors for too long, and don’t feel any connection to what is supposed to be my body (or even mind). But everything still drags on for some reason, for some reason i can’t just finally rest like it feels i’m supposed to, and no one really knows much so everything is just seemingly completely normal Amazing song tho, very catchy ^^ thanks for making something so neat

Tw: suicidal thoughts I should be dead, really. I have all the makings of a suicidal teen that ends up killing themselves, I have chronic depression and anxiety, I relate to all those suicidal Tikoks, I didn't exactly have much to live for until now, I was kind of just drifting through life for the sake of living, and I thought about suicide a few times. It would make sense that I'd have been dead long ago. Yet... The urge never came for some reason. I wasn't content with my life, but there was always some sort of core flame in my chest that refused to go out. I'd contemplate suicide, and Everytime the thought came up, I'd always come to the same conclusion: "nah, I don't want to, it's not worth it" Luckily, I eventually gained a real will to live other than "I don't wanna die". Because while before I had the will to survive, now I have the will to 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦. But uh, yeah, I relate to this a lot. The idea of "by all means I should be dead, there's no point in living, yet here I am anyway"
