Just got my shoes last night so thank you for this video. The quality is very good as always and I have my tryouts for my HS JV team next week so this gives me some extra info going into it. I know you have a really old video on ankle and maybe knee braces but if we could get a remake of that, assuming there’s enough new info to make one. I’ve been trying to strengthen my ankles and knees but I do want to get some preventative braces that I can wear for games whenever I feel like they’re getting a little sore/weak because of practice. Love your channel and wish you could post every day at the same quality, I’d pull up every for every video.

Never wear a ankle brace if you don’t need it you’ll weaken them

@@dknmlg9585 I don't "need" them, and I have been working on strengthening them in the gym and at practice, but during games I still want to know what to wear as something light but effective in ensuring that I won't injure myself, especially if they (my ankles) are already sore from the previous day. It's just as a precaution for games so I can avoid injuries, and hopefully wouldn't be something I would have to wear long term. Just for this season while I work on making them stronger for the future.

I’ve been playing volleyball in Currys since the 9’s came out! 100% agree with Zach here! I’ve loved the previous iterations (minus some cramping here and there), and these seem to be the culmination of what the line has embraced! I cannot recommend these shoes enough for volleyball players. Just incredible.

@@babytgffcddff they don’t offer custom number options, and they are a little bit more snug in the midfoot, so if you have wider feet, you’d probably want to size up a bit. I think this video discusses that near the end. They fit much more comfortably than the 9 or the 10, if you wore either of those!

i have issues with my curry 10's on hill slippage and the cloth on the heel messed up and i guess i drag my right toe alot becauise there is a hole in the toe were the flo traction comes up love the shoe just dissapointed on the durribilty of it

You may have a tad but once the shoe breaks in you may be good- tough to say unless I knew your arch height

Got a pair for Christmas and wore them yesterday for half-court and full-court games over the course of about 2.5 hours. I can’t compare them to previous versions, and they are the first new pair of basketball shoes I’ve purchased in quite a while (I wasn’t playing for the last several years and when I started back, I was wearing my shoes from playing racquetball, which were ok). I spend a lot of time barefoot or in barefoot-style shoes (Xero shoes if I need shoes, or Vibrams 5 fingers, or just barefoot). Here are my observations: Good wide toe box. My foot was not cramped or pinched as is usually common in basketball shoes. Felt snug and didn’t have any slippage. True to size. Not a zero drop but definitely not the imbalance I remember from older basketball shoes through around 2010. Felt like a mild forefoot bias (ie very comfy if you spend a lot of time on the balls of your feet, which most nimble guards do). Excited to wear them again; a definite improvement for me and my feet.

I play an average of once per week, and only wear them on the court (not to and from), so they’ve only touched hardwood and floor mats to wipe before/after and sometimes during games. I bet they’ll last until the end of the year at the amount of usage I put on them, if not a little longer.

They are 9/10! The only thing I don’t like is the tip of the shoe. It’s too stiff on the toes. Just preference but overall a badass shoe 🙌🏻

The Zion 3s did way better on the ball jump height test but he gave them a 3/5 for bounce. he gave these a 4.5????

if you go back and watch the zion 3 video he says he doesnt think that the bouncyness wont translate in games, or something like that... this does mean tho that there is an inconsistency in this test, he needs to find a more consistent test for bounce

The ball his the shock absorbing foam- the flow carrier is still the bounciest foam out there besides PEBA - the ball bearing test is just one criteria I use for bounce

My brother there is zero cushioning in in the toe the toe feels like a steel toe shoe which is why Curry has been slumping in these this year all of his best games pretty much are in his older shoes like the fours or the spawns these are horrible for basketball they're nice for fashion so I guess that's what I'll use them for but this is not for no small guard making Shifty moves especially not a step back when you flex your big toe and you feel the toes scrape a hard surface because there is zero cushioning in the toe there is like an air pocket in the toe which does nothing to Shield you from the hard surface of the outer. Buy the curry 4's or spawns instead

Agree Curry shoes are bad when it comes to cushioning.. I have a Curry 1 flotro and its cushioning are pretty bad!! Caused me Plantar Fasciitis. To add, also has heel slip.. pretty bad shoe for ita price!!!

Curry brand design and tech are bland and all the shoes look to similar. Currry Flow Tech was introduced in 2020. No advancement in tech, limited designs, and boring colorways are the reason I have zero interest for Curry brand shoes.
