Prob why he was sentenced to life in prison and she got the death penalty. That degree of decency saved his life and all she did was try to manipulate detectives and everyone else to cover her vindictive was. They both murdered that poor girl but only Josh showed remorse for what they did.

Detectives uses tactics like that, like trying to let the accused feel like they can be trusted, to get a confession. They make you feel like they understand you and don't judge in order to get more out of you. This is coming from someone who has been interegated before.

But this is Josh's version. Heather's boss and co-workers gave a different version: they said that the day Heather was killed, she had been at work, and Josh had called her to tell her to come home quick because something was wrong with their kids. They said Heather was all distraught and left work in a hurry to tend to a "family emergency". She was terrified of Josh at this point--I doubt she would have met up with him to go steal some money out of a trailer. We've heard her on tape saying, "Josh I'm afraid you're going to kill me." He had to have come up with something convincing to get her to meet up with him. I think he is saying this now to make Heather seem like a bad person.

Josh has always only cared about himself. He cheated because he enjoys sex, he abuses his wife because he likes to feel in control, he murders his wife for damaging his pride with her affair, and he tells the cops what they want to hear because he'll get the best deal. Emilia is not innocent but he threw her under the bus to save himself and I believe that she'd be afraid to come clean when the threat is someone with a history of domestic violence and murderous over jealousy.

I actually think Josh has 100x more remorse than emilia. The part where he is crying and says "I fucked around on her and she didn't kill me", he sounds very remorseful and broken. He is an absolute piece of shit, but I totally believe Emilia planned this and was the one who truly wanted it done. He clearly loved Heather more than her, and she knew they would get back together and leave her in the dust over and over until she was dead.

Honestly, I believe Josh. I can't say as I believe every word out of his mouth but I believe his story is as close to the truth as anyone is going to get. She called me and said she knew where I lived and threatened me cause her man was with me!!! She put a GPS on his vehicle and follows him everywhere. She hates me because he said he loves me and always will. He keeps trying to get back with me. After 18 years with someone that's what I get for my love and loyalty. At this point I'm so grateful that she helped me get rid of his lying, cheating, trash bag of a man. She's young and blames me for everything. If he was truly my man, he wouldn't have ever allowed her in. This scares me.

This detective is showing the man a lot of affection and pity but the girl gets none. I dont agree with what she did its obvious she has no remorse for it. The girl was Josh wife and mother of his children and he was abusive to her before and she knew he was going to kill her when he got out of jail. Now the babies have no mother or father.
