Equinox Pt 5 was a big favourite of my dad’s, he was quite the JMJ fan for a time in the mid 80s (and no doubt prior) The intro to the Simple Minds song went on a while, it was fine when it got going I suppose

I love a bit of JMJ, definitely a big influence on the synth pop movement and indeed Electronic music as a whole. I notice a loot of songs have something like a minute plus intro before they get started and a lot of them end uop being rather disappointing.

How the Undertones tune didn't make top 40 is beyond me and the same for the early Simple Minds....🤔🤔🤔 The less said about Duffo the better !!! 😲😲😲 Excellent Jason.

I dunno, I quite like that Duffo song. It's quirky without coming across as a complete novelty record. Agree with you about the Undertones though, Thanks Nick.

The Bob Seger song did make the Top 40 in the U.S., peaking at #13
