True Geordie

True Geordie

7 жыл бұрын

After over 20 years in the Police force including 14 years working undercover Neil Woods has come forward and admitted ''I've done really bad things''. Woods spent much of his time fighting crime by means of manipulation, entering the world of drugs and gangs via the back door... befriending what he calls the weak and vulnerable and seeking introduction to the biggest gangsters in Britain. Coming up against gangsters who use rape and torture to deal with their enemies would leave a few mental scars for most but Woods' biggest battle seems to be with the guilt of exploiting the drug abusers he used to get him involved with the gangs. After a long war on drugs Woods claims the war needs to end and its time for a new solution.

Loved the just human not robots Robocop come back of "another film you think is a documentary" haha!!! You 2 are so funny, it really works even though you couldn't be any different in your outlooks and opinions. This is a fantastic interview, and this gent has an incredible story to tell. I'm a big true crime book reader and know of several of these gangs mentioned like The Gunns of Notingham and The Burger Bar Boys so this guy truly was walking an incredibly dangerous line. If he'd been discovered he'd have been left in a ditch with an OBE (one behind the ear) so he's a very brave gent.

I am Canadian, so I don't really know much of anything about the hosts of this podcast. i tune in from time to time because they have some very interesting guests. But yeah,..you guys are right when you say that they don't let their guests talk enough. How and why did this podcast get so popular?? Are the hosts famous or something? I don't get it. I found them through watching Shaun Atwood's channel a few years ago or so. I don't understand how this channel/podcast got so popular. Can someone from the UK kindly explain to me what the deal is? Thanks again. Cheers from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Why get a guest on to tell his story, then, while telling what is a serious narrative. All these two do is interupt and talk about themselves. The imature way they seem to think he and the police work is a sign of the fact they belive the way television and film portray the police is real.

Laurence 1:10:20 - "Whats unusual is the way in which we then treat those people...." Then goes on to talk about American terminology. Doesn't make any connection to the point. Just buts in to then think of something on the spot, just to say something

TG: "Obviously everyone knows someone who can get them drugs, and that's not a coincidence..." Laurence: "I don't." The contrast between these two is what makes this podcast unique

Canada legalized cannibis a couple weeks ago. The demand was so high legal cannibis sold out across the country. No evidence on how it functions yet though, hope it reduces crime and is used safely.

Get Bernard O'mahoney on,he is the author of the Essex Boys, and he had a varied history from being a soldier in NI to being a gangster in Essex with a lot in between, including a time when he was a doorman on the murder mile in the 80s .
