This is INSANE! Aaron has always been my biggest music influence. I’ve always resonated with him. I too, have a mental health diagnosis. BiP2. I also took up running this past year. If you’re reading this, your not weird, or out of place, you can find calm in your mind and heart if you really want it and ask for help. It’s scary taking that first step (or taking it again for the millionth time. Go for it. You will get better. Don’t quit. You can do this. Love ya Aaron.

Favorite drummer struggles with anxiety like me, this advice was great

What a stand up guy, so glad he has found treatments that work for anxiety. I remember listening to underoath back in the day, super cool to see him doing so well now!

Over the last 4 weeks of starting a new job, I’ve noticed a very similar strand of feelings and emotions to what you just described. The smallest trigger works me up to the point of feeling like my heart might explode out of the front of my chest - then when I finally work up the balls to open my mouth and say something to someone, it’s almost immediately just uncontrollable crying.. People who don’t feel this or have this look at you like you’re losing your mind, which then starts to make you question whether you actually are losing your mind, which just makes things worse! It feels like you’re sitting on an island in the middle of the ocean, with no one to talk to but the waves, completely swelled up with emotions - and you don’t know why. Very very VERY difficult to navigate, as I’m having to learn right now. This video couldn’t be better timed. Thank you Aaron - sincerely.

This is crazy. I've been getting more into underoath lately and then this video pops up and describes me perfectly. I also have GAD and this really helps me better understand how to deal with how I feel. Idk if something is telling me something but I'm listening now.
