Connective words are often used! So often, it's difficult to pick up in context. However understanding them helps create a contextual frame work to realize the meanings in nouns as you encounter them.

I enjoyed Тётя Марта, and my Russian is still not amazing. That's one of the things I've been doing. Working on common words, so I can get the gist of what's being said even if I don't understand everything. I can then infer meanings from visual and word context.

On what website did you upload the first 30 episodes with subtitles? I remember I used a website like that, it had other shows and movies, such as ёлки and интерны. It was very useful but now I can't find it.
