Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is a term that includes both deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. When a blood clot forms in a deep vein in the body, it is called deep vein thrombosis (DVT). When that blood clot breaks off and travels to the lungs it is called a pulmonary embolism (PE). Seems it will be in 2021, thankfully it’s also now detected early in many aspects as pandemic inoculation’s are being fast track, so is every complication to provide an efficient and positive result, with every patient with underlined concerns, who should sit with your Gp and obtain the right information, thus enabling both to come to successful results.
