Lucid explanation, as always. Love Gambit books, particularly yours John. Btw, the ‘kids’ books are outstanding.

I have a copy of this book together with Understanding Chess Endgame. Thanks Sir John.

Great explanation. I just wish that a lot of those things you say in the video would have made it into the book in prose form. I mostly see concise annotations that are more moves than prose.

Dr Nunn, not all gambit publications are in the Studio, can you please add them please.

It costs several hundred pounds to convert a book to Chess Studio format, so there has to be a realistic prospect of getting that back in sales. We always convert new titles to Chess Studio, but not all old titles are viable candidates. However, we keep possible conversions under review and may do more in future. Are there any specific titles you like to see available for Chess Studio?

@@gambitpublications618 Thanks for the feedback. I already posses many of the gambit publication books in the Studio and I am happy with them as they are very user-friendly and effective means for learning chess. I could not find the French Tarrasch Variation book in the Studio Store though. I have the paper book but I’d like to own the ebook too (Many players use the Tarrasch variation against French Defence). Also, the Gambit Publication books there are a few very important openings missing. These are: The Scotch Game and Scotch Gambit, The Sicilian Accelerated Dragon, The Pirc Defence, The Italian Game and Vienna game which would be great if they will added in future as they are all very popular opening systems. ( imagine the attractive title: Understanding The Italian Game or The Perc Defence Explained). Overall, I am still happy with the Studio and wish their creators all the best.

@@kevinwellwrought2024 Thanks, I have passed on your ideas to my colleagues. Our book Play the Open Games with Black has a fair amount on the Italian Game.

I used Gambit Chess Studio 2, an app for Apple and Android devices (also works on a PC with an Android emulator). All our new titles and a large number of older titles are available for the app. A full list of titles may be found at www.gambitbooks.com/webapp/appbooks.html
