I'm taking the same Google IT course and find the instructional videos terrible in explaining the concepts. His 6-minute video is excellent at breaking it down for a true beginner.

Yeah I feel like the thing this Google IT course struggles the most with is not giving examples. Not only do they not give examples, but they breeze through these topics without explaining them too well then giving such easy quiz questions it's laughable. I understand that this is a beginner course but I'd much rather have harder questions that force me to remember harder concepts or at least look up the answer so I am reminded about how to do it.

@@Mochi_177 seriously bro. im doing the google IT course right now. and just took my subnetting quiz and just laugh as i took it. cause im like, i can easily take this quiz and pass but if i had to explain subnet mask and cidr. my brain would go blank. youtube vids like this have been carrying my google IT education.

he added 128 + 64 = 192. So in the video he pointed out that when you are adding, you start from left to right.
