Language is very commonly dominant on the left, but Dr. Lee pointed out that the "yellow" areas were highlighted on the patient's right. The convention for radiology images has the patients left on screen right. Unless the images were intentionally flipped horizontally, that may need to be reviewed for future talks. Otherwise, great talk with important relevant findings.

Mom's in a chair permenant now, been 3 years this going on after she hit her head, she can barely get out of the chair and turn to the toilet, can hardly swallow or keep her mouth closed . she Smiles and is trying to have a good attitude.. Stronger than All uf us. They labeled it CBD ? moms too young to be in this shape..

Is that blood clots in the brain? Selenium prevents blood clots. So Tiamine & other b-vitamins is regulating what?

I have a new client that I suspect has CBD - not yet confirmed clinically. This has been a useful presentation thank you and strengthens my rationale and reasoning for further PET scans. I am convinced he has CBD.

@@xiylo. Communication - almost total inability to give answers, just a puzzled look. An alien limb - his right leg he finds difficult to use. Complete incontinence. Rapid deterioration from onset of symptoms 3 years ago. Frontal lobe and cortex deterioration on MRI

I am a SLP graduate student doing a report on CBD, as it has many speech/language implications. I’ve seen it referred to as a type of Parkinson’s disease, which makes sense based on symptoms, however it was not mentioned in this presentation. Is CBD being referred to as an “atypical Parkinson’s” a classification you agree with?

I had a relative that passed away from CBD.

Very interesting. My father can hardly shuffle very slowly when he walks, and he tells me he's not in pain, except his back hurts. It's not Parkinson's, what could it be? He doesn't have any speech issues, or eye movement ( which would be indicative of SCA) Parkinson's medication did not help, no one knows what is wrong with my dad, and it's like the doctors don't care. He has all the symptoms of SCA except speech issues and spastic eye movement. He can sit in a chair and look at you in the eye and tell a story. He remembers things what I said or did the last two weeks that I had visited, as an example. He has a slight hand tremor, he falls a lot, and he also, at times, has no control over his bowels (cause he can't walk fast enough to the bathroom, he tries). What could be going on here? Any suggestions would be great. He's 78 in September and has had these symptoms for about 4 or 5 years.
