I am in India now studying with a Vedic guru. We are studying dharma, samskara and karma right now. This conversation is very helpful. I would enjoy more talk about these topics.

It takes much effort to face yourself and analyze self behaviors that may or may not be for your greater good. It feels almost automatic to make judgement about yourself based off other people’s behavior and not your own. It’s a bitter sweet feeling to acknowledge your own flaws, accept them and make the effort to transform your negative into positive.

😯This is the second video suggesting "The Souls Code" by James Hillman. I'll take that as a sign I need to read it! Intuitive Astrologer Molly McCord suggested it in her video that she released today. 😮

Attended a class on Soul's Code at the Theosophical Society shortly after its publication in 1996. It made me a Hillman fan. I can't remember how many times I've recommended it to people over the years or cited examples of behavior in kids that becomes defining later in unexpected ways. Jackson Pollack is a particular favorite. Nice discussion.

It would seem to me that the Soul is always plenty awake and that the character is becoming aware that there is a Soul Source that we come through to experience here.

The just action, at the just time with the just state of Being. Balance through Will of Compassion is the key 🙏🔥💚

Thanks for the great discussion! Another aspect of understanding dharma is that it can also be contextual. Dharma for the character is sometimes called sva-dharma - dutifully or religiously being the best laborer, merchant, administrator, teacher etc., one can be - given one's conditioned nature or character. Dharma in the context of the soul, has to do with one's essential nature. An example given is the dharma water is wetness; the two are inseparable . So the soul's dharma , that inseparable something, is understood to be spontaneous loving service connected to eternal Source, also called sanatana (eternal) dharma. Dharma of the soul is one's eternal love-actuated activity which transcends one's temporary and changeable earthbound duty/occupation/religion.

Really great information, thank you. I would love to hear more about how astrology explains time. In past life regression studies, they say our soul severs us. It great to hear truth from different sources that compliment eachother.

Thank you for this q&a for Dharma. But I must say as I love & believe in astrology, I also must say l believe in numerology. Just as Astrology gives us guidance, numerology does too.

"The soul comes out and says, 'Oh, you're trustworthy...I'll make out with you.'" Amazing! I think of my self (human ego form) pursuing a sort of inner sacred marriage (hieros gamos) with my deeper Self, so this resonates. (Also, my deeper Self seems to appreciate a good sense of humor...And, so does my transient embodied self). :)

Thanx for this guys. Maybe I'm mistaken but it kinda seems like you r leaning toward Vedic astrology Acyuta. Will you b studying this in future? A fantastic Vedic astrologer who would make a wonderful guest is Ernst Wilhelm. (on u tube) He says that Vedic astrology is a part of the the holy scriptures in Vedic culture along with the Upanishads, etc. He also is devout and rigorously but kindly honest and direct like you r. He taught himself the ancient language of the Vedic scriptures and has written a # of interesting books on Vedic astrology. You 2 together would sure make for a fascinating conversation to listen in on. What a treat that would b! 🙂❤

So that I can move on to the next lesson that I need rather than repeating old issues.

With the whole 11:11 aspect... If the majority of the world adopts it as a significant occurrence in this world...then IT IS or becomes important because people have manifested it into this world... To talk this and other phenomena down as "novelty"... Do you even get what's going on!?
