also theres this quick secret i found, if your doing a neutral/pacifist run (you have to hang out with papyrus to get his number) and in a specific place in hotland, he would say "oh your near core?" and if you try to call him back he would just say "..." with his sad face

Probably a stretch but i have a theory that his "experiment" was the Deltarune Universe. He created this so monsters could happily live in the overworld. This would make sense because the goal of the scientist of the underground was to find a way to get out and restore peace. The "darkness" he's referring to may be the dark fountains spreading throughout the earth leading to the Dark Worlds

Regarding Room 264, Entry Number 17 is a missing lab entry in the True Lab during the True Pacifist Ending. While I haven't been big on the Undertale Story/Lore for years and years now, I believe the entry was originally going to be accessible to the player, as you'll notice in the video, the room does not cause a game crash like most rooms would.

Gaster doesn't do anything. Nothing scary. Yet he's so unsettling. There's something about his very existence that horrifies me. The hints and the secrets. It scares me.

I also think that the "You two"part of Gasters speech in room 264 means that Sans and Papyrus. And if you talk to the shopkeeper About the town, she says that the skelebros just "appeared" one day. MAYBE just MAYBE Sans and Papyrus just "appeared" Because when Gaster Shattered across time and space small remnants of him remained. The skelebros COULD be those "Remnants". Sans also mentions that He "gave up trying to go back a long time ago" And "getting to the surface doesn't really appeal anymore" That could because he came from a different timeline. Gasters timeline. Also in true lab, some text appears to be all lowercase, like Sans's font. That could imply that since sans may be gaster, he could be working with alphys on his "experiment". Also also if you beat sans twice he will give you a key to his room. If you do in a secret place there you will find a lab with blueprints on the floor. Could these be blueprints for the strange machine in true lab? Also Also ALSO there is a drawing on the wall, if you interact with it, it says "It is three figures you have not seen before" MAYBE This is Sans, Papyrus, and Gaster. MAYBE...

i have a theory on 14:00 that that room "Wing Ding Gaster" may be in is a void across time and space when in our eyes It's just a small room but in gasters eyes its an infinite void that helped him find the truth about undertale and once merg interacted with him he was finally free. Btw sans and gaster are the only ones who can teleport (apart from the gaster followers) so there may be a connection there. It's a cool theory and i haven't done something like this in a long time Lol but that's my thoughts about Sans,Wing Ding Gaster and the gaster followers.

using just the information in this video, it sounds like such an unfortunate tragedy. An experiment gone wrong which causes you to have never existed / stop existing, but you are still present in many ways, enough to influence the world and some of the people in it. creepy.

Since gaster shattered through time and space, the parts of him that did shatter may be able to travel through timelines and resets probably explaining how gaster and his followers appear and dissapear, as if they were going through time and space constantly.

It's funny how one of the most obscure characters here in Undertale still managed to be one of the most popular and personally, I hope we get some answers in Deltarune about Gaster's identity

10:13 actually all three of these guys you can meet across the game. The “I have a piece of him right here” guy is colored in earlier on at the spider bake sale before the muffet fight. And if u go back he’s STILL there. So he must have like a secret twin that kept being killed by Flowey so he lost his existence, this type of thing is revealed in the Asriel fight at the end of true pacifist. If a being with determination/resets kills a creature enough times across each reset then they slowly become more devoid and not existent across the fun values. Goner Kid is a perfect example of this. He’s a variant of Monster Kid. Flowey killed him SO many times that he literally only existed in ONE fun value! Just like Gaster who only appears in one secret room in one fun value!! Oh a fun value is basically a random value that gets assigned every reset to you from 1-100. To spice things up a lil bit every time you play. So there’s a 1 in a thousand chance you find Goner Kid or Gaster himself on your first play through, and it could get exponentially higher the more you play. Cool!

The tune in the temmie secret sounds like the first couple notes of Metal Crusher, the song in the mettaton battle.

When gaster died by falling into the Core, i bet he split into REALLY REALLY small pieces and when Frisk fell into the underground and for every other monster aswell, a very small piece of gaster is on them and the core sent the rest of gaster's pieces throughout the universe after the pieces were sent at lightspeed, the more concentrated and visible gaster shards were held by the followers which wish to revive gaster

I got the one who looks like the Monster Kid but in grey, the first and the Third Gaster Follower on my first Trough Play but at the time I didn‘t know Gaster was special and my biger Sister (because I played on her Switch) didn‘t say anything but interesting to know, I even got the secret Floor and Gaster but when I saw him I was like: „why?“ I didn‘t knew about him before.

Gaster created the dark worlds in deltarune because as one creature said gaster fell into his own creation and that guy similaar to monster kid said i wonder if that world would be possible.Gaster existence is also proven to be in deltarune because he control's kris, spamton and jevil(just find someone videos on spamton,jevil,and kris behavior theory to check if its true).Sans also is very much powerful as you see and says dialogues about time and space which is also a relation to gaster,sans also has blood when you defeat him in genocide so idk about everything. Also the the room number 264 last line says what do you two think means he's mentioning sans and papyrus.

There is a theory that the time and space thing is because of a Time Machine he built with sans, (the strange machine and windings in the back room of his house), and that’s why sans knows him, knows about time travel and all about resets and saves.

Gaster is such an interesting character, simply due to the fact that a large majority of people either know about him or have seen fan art of him. Think about how many fan works involve gaster, and realise that he has had no real interactions at all, but the sheer mystery behind him is so dense and atmospheric, that you can practically taste the menace that exudes from just even brief mentions of him. And there have been heavy hints of his inclusion in deltarune. Which means that the rest of deltarune will be very, very, interesting.

when at the end in the last 10 seconds of video you go on with the video (5 seconds) you see the face of gaster that is normally not seen but is only seen when the light shines when you skip 5 seconds of video

so a reference to goner kid saying "it's not raining" is actually a reference to the undertale ost "it's raining somewhere else" which is the music of the room behind sans's and papyrus's house, and the room is supposedly tied to gaster.
